Guest jezze boi Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 is there someway to put back the home screen animation? the weather and the flip clock?
Guest amdzero Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 is there someway to put back the home screen animation? the weather and the flip clock? yes, just pull up co0kie home tab editor and look under the misc. settings. once you change the settings however, you need to restart sense (either create a quicklink or use the winmo settings and deselect ZeroSense, and reslect it).

Guest tedkord Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) Is 2.0 using the original GPS drivers, or did Steel share his port of the i8000 drivers? I haven't had the chance to try out GPS yet (only a fire or a broken down bus of female pornstars is getting me out of the house tonight), but I've gotta say - GPS locks were pretty quick with his driver port. I wasn't getting 30 second cold locks like he is, but I was usually under a minute. Otherwise, I'm really liking 2.0! Sense does seem a bit snappier, no bugs noticed so far. The only thing I can see that would be a real improvement at this point is Steel's success at porting the OpenGL ES2 version of Sense. EDIT: Oh, and THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for disabling the homescreen weather animation! Edited July 23, 2010 by tedkord
Guest vol-fisher Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 When I get a call the screen is not showing the called ID, just a box where the pic might go, but no number and it looks distorted. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Yeah, I'm getting the same thing. Doesn't even show the number, just a big box of a blank portrait. No way to see the number calling. :-( LOL someone said something about mms freezing. that's true, if you overclock. X It only happened once so far. Been running smooth now. I've had to "reboot" the phone a few times today. Some of them it didn't want to "wake up" and I started getting nervous after my last phone, but like I said..seems to be running smoothly now. I haven't gone into any of the over clocking features yet. I've been running around all day doing errands, so haven't had time to mess with that yet. If you just got it, it came with DC23. Nope, since the upgrade tool won't upgrade if DC23 is already on the device, it came with CJ10 out of the box. Edited July 23, 2010 by LordSith
Guest jezze boi Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 oh shi-ite! just flashed to this and saw the Sense speed and WOW!!! best i've ever seen on my device! thank you for a wonderful ROM(:

EDIT: Also about the phone not wanting to wake up. This has only happened to me 2 times, and what I did was hold the end call button down for a few seconds, then pressed the lock button. I'm not sure why but that seems to make the phone REALIZE I want to use it. I have NOT had to pull the battery out at all. In fact the only time I've pulled the battery out was to put my Extended battery in it. EDIT2: Well I'm just an editing fool this morning, that or I just can't seem to think of things all at once... I too am eagerly awaiting Steels OpenGLv2 port, but I've not really heard from him in a bit. I think he may be burnt out and need a cooking break. He has released a great deal in the short time he has been cooking. Edited July 23, 2010 by amdzero
Guest amdzero Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 zerostock? okay, okay. I'm now working on zerostock, what else should do to it besides cooking the memory better, and adding splugins to titanium?
Guest ED2O9 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) After the 2.0 update, I decided that it was time to bite the bullet and jump on the Sense bandwagon. I flashed last night and all is running well... with one exception: under Settings/Personal/Buttons, my button choices are: Button1 Hold - Task Switcher Button1 Hold - Task Switcher <OK/Close> - <Home> Button2 Hold - <Home> If I hit OK or try to close, I get the following message: "Each program button must have a unique button assignment. Please select a different button assignment." I can't get rid of the warning because there are two "Button1 Hold" tabs and no "Button1" quick press option. I have to do a soft reset to get out of the loop. VERY strange. Is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks! After playing with it a bit, I discovered that the first "Button1 Hold" option is really just "Button1". Edited July 23, 2010 by ED2O9

LOL ummm...gps driver, the patched DLL for the phone button as I don't like the samsung lockscreen and may want to use Spam alert. Other than that the only thing I would like to see (not sure if it is possible though) is the Korean sliderlock working properly with our ROMS. as of now, you can put the lockscreen.exe in windows with the dll and it works, but the characters for day of the week don't show properly, nor do all of the notifications work right, nor does touchplayer integrate...but maybe the i8000 touchplayer will work with it..who knows...but as I said don't know if that last one is possible. OH, and maybe cook in Neo Titanium? not needed though. :( sorry to be a pain lol. I'll be in my upgrade window in 3 weeks, and I've got Android ENVY! HELP! sorry broski!!, my company just ordered my DROID X... after testing it the pros outweigh its cons, so far the only three issues i see with it are all around corporate users and Microsoft Communicator, connecting to secure Access points and its weak SSL VPN options.

I dont have an option to change it. the onply option is Button 1 Hold. no that is an odd one, haven't come across that. I have the option to change button 1, but with sense for some reason it gets reverted back to <home> after a soft reset.
Guest ShamroQ Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Well as a new memeber I have no clue how to get these ROM's you all make, let alone add it to my phone afterwards. So any help would be nice as I would like to try it out myself.

Then there is a thread that says how I flashed my i920...and in it it has the links and descriptions of how to do it all :( happy flashing. Edited July 23, 2010 by Omega Ra
