I found that I couldn't sync anything with this application installed, though I only tried it alongside the official maps application.

I was mainly interested in the caching of tiles to SD - why doesn't the official apk do a better job of this?

Hi, Does anyone know where i can download a full set of uk map tiles so i can transfer them straight to my memory card and save my data allowance? Also which folder on the memory card are the map tiles located in? Thanks

I just found out there's a version of Brut maps that will use AndNav2 tiles.

Since I already have GB of AndNav2 tiles, this would be great. Can you make a stockified version of it?

maps.brut17 is officially out now, and is stockified by default. It is based on maps v4.6.0. There is also a [brut] tagged version there, but the stockified version seems to work best. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630887
