I have used three different Omnia 2's

and i have noticed that when you lightly touch the screen, it acts like you quickly slid from the middle of the phone to your area of touch

this gets really annoying with swype since it swypes a word when i just want to put a letter...

i wanted to ask if this problem is universal, or just specific to my three devices...

is anyone else experiencing this? or you just apply more pressure onto the screen?

i'm using the i920

I'm using the i8000 and this happens intermittently on mine.

Specifically on the top right corner.

When it does, I switch off the phone, press the screen edges all around, restart and re-calibrate the screen.

It fixes the issue to some extent.

that issue i'm having is not affected by the calibration

it's like there is a small force (equal to a light touch) pressing on the middle of the screen

when i gently press somewhere else in the screen (not the middle), it goes from the middle to that other place..

i have used the Omnia 2 at a local Verizon store and the issue is present in it

it also effects scrolling, and gets annoying

when i wanna tap on something, it scrolls quickly..
