im using autokiller memory optimizer on A1 and set it to "optimum" preset. the device seems to run smoother.. i think.

Here's the short version: task killers are not worth it, it's much more efficient to use an app like AutoKiller Memory Optimizer to set Android's built-in task killer's thresholds.
