Guest Charlton22 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 I have some trouble when the SU Request pops out... It remains black screen and after some time it goes force close... What could be the issue?

Guest dr01dfan Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) Hello dr01dfan Well... it seems that your missing something very simple... If you Flashed V1.6 & V1.7 with malez you should be able to install Phhroyo without sign check... So... From the Malez Recovery Menu Select Flash/Test menu Then Select Flash zip from sdcard no sign check) And your done... Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it. I'm looking at the menu and I don't see Flash/Test anywhere, I'm seeing: - Reboot system now - Apply sdcard:update.zip - Apply any zip from sd - Nandroid : backup - Nandroid : restore latest backup - UMS on - UMS off - Root current system - Remove root in current system - Split SD for app2sd - Move App2SD - Fix package uid mismatches - Wipe data - Wipe dalvik-cache - Copy recovery.log to sdcard is there some button combination I have to push? Tried "adb shell (enter)" "utility (enter)" while in recovery but got "error: device not found" Ah apparently I don't have the right recovery software. Problem solved, thanks guys. First of all, update your recovery, I believe it's stikied in this forum. apply any zip might work, but will probably check for signature. Looks like he figured it out  Edited June 29, 2010 by Quipeace

Guest mrnismisk Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 I have some trouble when the SU Request pops out... It remains black screen and after some time it goes force close... What could be the issue? You must have USB debugging on when dealing with a new SU request.
Guest dr3amz Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 ah ok so I tried it again, why is this rom such a bitch to get up and running >.> flashed 1.100.05 flashed froyo flashed fix #3 (as thats what I had on phone from before) and stuck in the nexus/google loading animation, just stops then loops again

Guest dr3amz Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 You MUST boot froyo before applying the fix. yeah sorry, i did that, same s*** going to put lcr on first now and see if that resolves (sucks having to use another rom/build just to get yours working! must find problem! :D) someone mentioned the sound as well, not sure if it's just the speak but after i put this release on before sound is very screachy/no bass...
Guest Quipeace Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Alright, looks like the batterylife is quite normal now, seeing what I used to see on Eclair like I explained before. Wifi is really annoying though, as it's showing as connected but actually isn't, just have to quickly restart wifi and things are back to normal. Great so far
Guest akira.pwr Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 I can't receive mms, is a known bug?
Guest Splux Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 If I want to install this, and got Éclair installed.. I should just load it with superboot as a custom rom, or? Or should I install it with A1 DL tool? Thanks in advance, would like to try this, but I haven't modded my phone so much yet:3
Guest HustlinDaily Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 If you have Éclair, just install malez recovery (http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-malez-recovery/wiki/howToInstall) onto it and flash it with no sign check. Then reboot it, then boot back into malez recovery and flash the fixes.
Guest Quipeace Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 @phh, any chance you'll release some other overclocked kernels like the ones for LCR? The settings you used for the (second) donut kernels were working great :D (is quietly going to test whether the liquid likes to run linpack at 1200MHZ )

I ran 1Ghz for one week without a single crash...
Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Your Liquid is #1 on Linpack right?
Guest Charlton22 Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Your Liquid is #1 on Linpack right? Yepp
Guest Quipeace Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Does you liquid run 1.2Ghz??? I ran 1Ghz for one week without a single crash... I don't know, probably wont boot or be stable, but hey, I'm not going to try to run linpack once or twice to match the nexuses .

Guest Quipeace Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) LOL i'm also interested... But i'm afraid of damaging my device :) Nah, you probably won't damage anything, just don't run the setCPU stresstest :D. Anyway, just quickly flashed LCR and the 1200MHz boot image, that didn't work at all :D. Managed to restore via a nandroid backup but still had to reflash froyo.zip (and the fix) to connect with the network. I would still like a 998MHz kernel though . Edited July 1, 2010 by Quipeace
