LOL hard luck! At this point.. I aint gonna risk my device...

Don't get me wrong lol, probably sounded like I only barely managed to restore a nandroid backup, a bootloop really isn't that bad. Yes it will probably scare the hell out of you once or twice but after that it's just reflashing the boot image and you're running again.

I might have to go back to Eclair tonight, because of the wifi bug my mail isn't automatically syncing (I don't have a dataplan), which is of course very annoying.

New update:

-splashscreen the way I wanted it

-Updated superuser (theorically at least ?!?)

-Add leds on keys

-Add RIL stuff in it, so you just have to flash it if you happen to wipe or a bad nand backup/restore

do we have to flash fix5 and 6 too?

Just 6.

All fixes are cumulative.

Ah thanks for the advice! I'm used to using the estrong file manger, because of the great UI and easy LAN sharing, Do I need to keep ASTRO for the mod to work?

I've seen the "you must have no ext2 partition on your sdcard" but is this specific to ext2 or all ext-versions? (running ext3 atm)

is the graphic bug fixed atm or is it yet just not that strong as before?

Just flashed this ROM and it boots just fine (didn't work with ext3 btw so not only ext2 if anyone else wonders). The problem is that I can't get Wifi to work, at all. When turning wifi on it just states "Turing on wifi" and then changes to "Error". My wifi interface doesn't have an mac-address for some reason and I don't really know where to continue from here.

Did you flash the latest fix?

Flashed Fix 6 and also tried with fix 3, both with the same problem. Seems like I have to reflash the bin and give it a new go.

Why restoring from nanDroid I haven't any service? My sim don't work, have I to reinstall completely?

Yes you do, no wipe though, and I believe you only have to flash fix #6 to restore the network connection.

Not a big deal, you're in the recovery already anyway.
