Guest phhusson Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 So what else is left? Camera and haptic feedback on capacitive buttons? That is everything right? Notification LEDs, proximity sensor, light sensor, HTC Sense. I also plan doing a sound equalizer, perhaps using Acer's multimedia libs. (These last two would kick asses, especially compared to the Froyo on other systems
Guest android76 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Very very good work !! I LOVE YOU
Guest simoneser Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) Oh, another thing: i've noticed that there's still the old SuperUser and not the new one...are you sure is fixed? Anyway, you're simply awesome! Thank you so much for your work, this community wouldn't be as is now without you! Edited July 20, 2010 by simoneser
Guest simoneser Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) Ok, reflashed again and gallery doesn't crash. But I have something that can be interesting for you: a FRF91 deodexed rom with the same folder-tree as Liquid (system/app etc) http://www.4shared.com/file/14LBAR6X/FRF91...xed_signed.html  Edited July 20, 2010 by simoneser
Guest android76 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) If you prefer I have found the upgrade FRF50 to FRF91 => http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DX3W7T6X :D EDIT : ok I have download it and all files have .p at the end  Edited July 20, 2010 by android76
Guest xian1243 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 It's way more complicated than a simple patch. He'd have done it already if it was that easy. And trust me, it's not. I tried too.
Guest davidevinavil Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) Great work i hope you put xt9 keyboard and fix proximity sensor  Edited July 21, 2010 by davidevinavil
Guest android76 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) OMG WOW! YES IT IS MILESTONE WORTHY OF ANOTHER DONATION! Will do it after I get paid this weekend (assuming it tests well for everybody). So what else is left? Camera and haptic feedback on capacitive buttons? That is everything right? Notification LEDs, proximity sensor, light sensor, HTC Sense. I also plan doing a sound equalizer, perhaps using Acer's multimedia libs. (These last two would kick asses, especially compared to the Froyo on other systems  @Phhusson : Does it any risk to let the CPU running at 1.2 Ghz ? Does it run all the time at this frequence ? Edited July 21, 2010 by android76
Guest Dona' Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 I don't think anyone has been able to make his phone boot with this frequency.
Guest android76 Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 update with (for dhcp, gsensors, mass storage, 768MHz, O/Cable up to 1.2Ghz, static voltage scaling, key leds, updated SuperUser, with fixed sound input, with fixed graphical bug and with new splashscreen WITHOUT wifi sleep workaround)
Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Would it run at that frequency is the question. Don't think there is much risk if it works.
Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Maybe a risk if it getting hot and catching on fire lol
Guest Dona' Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 I didn't notice that, sorry but even if the kernel is available, you'll need luck for it to work on your liquid.
Guest Dona' Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 I can't find any kernel for this rom. I tried some kernels on the Google code website but loop reboot. I'm probably not looking in the right place but could anyone please give me a link to kernels for this amazing rom ? Thanks
Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Published Froyo-fix7, only change is new kernel, that has overclocking values up to 1.2GHz, but starts at 768MHz. Use SetCPU if you want to change it.
Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Does the built in WiFi hotspot work?
Guest akira.pwr Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) HAHA ! The best thing about this fix is that now H264 hardware decoding works too \o/ PS: I think that H264 and fix of graphic bug is a good milestone for donation :D (but test it before donating, just in case I did something wrong.) I'll do again, you are great! Edited July 21, 2010 by akira.pwr
Guest uzirox Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Fact: phhusson > cyanogen keep up the good work man!
Guest Chadski Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 @phhusson Just a suggestion, pls make you "please donate" sign more visible and add it to your signature. You have done greatly. I am planning to donate once the camera has been fixed. This is the only thing holding me flashing Froyo.
Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Trying it out and it is amazing. One thing, I don't think the Superuser is the newest and I am having trouble getting it to work. Not a biggie, just wondering what the status is on this. Thanks.
Guest ahsid Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) This is huge !!! thanks a lot pphusson ! EDIT : it's kind of ironic, we might get a fully fonctionnal Froyo system before the "Official" 2.1 release of the update by Acer Edited July 21, 2010 by ahsid
Guest natostanco Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) have anyone tried to use swype with this? mine is not working, maybe it's frf50, in other forums i've read that in frf91 it is working :s Edited July 21, 2010 by natostanco
Guest HustlinDaily Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 My Swype works perfect. Do you have the latest beta?
Guest phhusson Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) @Phhusson : Does it any risk to let the CPU running at 1.2 Ghz ? Does it run all the time at this frequence ? I thought I've been precise enough ?!? The CPU runs at 768MHz, that's the default scaling maximum, meaning that if you don't change anything, it won't ever go further than that. Now, the declared frequencies goes as high as 1.2GHz, so you can change scaling maximum to higher values (with setcpu for instance). Does the built in WiFi hotspot work? No, and that's unlikely it will ever work, we'll have to stick to Adhoc stuff. I can't find any kernel for this rom. I tried some kernels on the Google code website but loop reboot. I'm probably not looking in the right place but could anyone please give me a link to kernels for this amazing rom ? Thanks Why would you need another kernel ? The kernel included here have pretty much everything available to other kernels /o\ have anyone tried to use swype with this? mine is not working, maybe it's frf50, in other forums i've read that in frf91 it is working :s Works fine here. Oh, another thing: i've noticed that there's still the old SuperUser and not the new one...are you sure is fixed? For my defense, it's not the link I was given  On another note, it seems H264 isn't totally fixed, some videos have wrong colors. (something like chrominance channel has an ~ 60pixels offsets on y axis on some videos oO) Edited July 21, 2010 by phhusson
