So what else is left? Camera and haptic feedback on capacitive buttons? That is everything right?

Notification LEDs, proximity sensor, light sensor, HTC Sense. I also plan doing a sound equalizer, perhaps using Acer's multimedia libs. (These last two would kick asses, especially compared to the Froyo on other systems

Oh, another thing: i've noticed that there's still the old SuperUser and not the new one...are you sure is fixed?

Anyway, you're simply awesome!

Thank you so much for your work, this community wouldn't be as is now without you!

It's way more complicated than a simple patch. He'd have done it already if it was that easy. And trust me, it's not. I tried too.

OMG WOW! YES IT IS MILESTONE WORTHY OF ANOTHER DONATION!

Will do it after I get paid this weekend (assuming it tests well for everybody).

@Phhusson : Does it any risk to let the CPU running at 1.2 Ghz ? Does it run all the time at this frequence ?

I don't think anyone has been able to make his phone boot with this frequency.

update with (for dhcp, gsensors, mass storage, 768MHz, O/Cable up to 1.2Ghz, static voltage scaling, key leds, updated SuperUser, with fixed sound input, with fixed graphical bug and with new splashscreen WITHOUT wifi sleep workaround)

Would it run at that frequency is the question. Don't think there is much risk if it works.

Maybe a risk if it getting hot and catching on fire lol

I didn't notice that, sorry but even if the kernel is available, you'll need luck for it to work on your liquid.

I can't find any kernel for this rom. I tried some kernels on the Google code website but loop reboot. I'm probably not looking in the right place but could anyone please give me a link to kernels for this amazing rom ?

Thanks

Published Froyo-fix7, only change is new kernel, that has overclocking values up to 1.2GHz, but starts at 768MHz. Use SetCPU if you want to change it.

Does the built in WiFi hotspot work?

HAHA !

The best thing about this fix is that now H264 hardware decoding works too \o/

PS: I think that H264 and fix of graphic bug is a good milestone for donation :D (but test it before donating, just in case I did something wrong.)

I'll do again, you are great!

@phhusson

Just a suggestion, pls make you "please donate" sign more visible and add it to your signature. You have done greatly. I am planning to donate once the camera has been fixed. This is the only thing holding me flashing Froyo.

Trying it out and it is amazing. One thing, I don't think the Superuser is the newest and I am having trouble getting it to work. Not a biggie, just wondering what the status is on this. Thanks.

This is huge !!! thanks a lot pphusson !

EDIT : it's kind of ironic, we might get a fully fonctionnal Froyo system before the "Official" 2.1 release of the update by Acer

My Swype works perfect. Do you have the latest beta?

@Phhusson : Does it any risk to let the CPU running at 1.2 Ghz ? Does it run all the time at this frequence ?

I thought I've been precise enough ?!?

The CPU runs at 768MHz, that's the default scaling maximum, meaning that if you don't change anything, it won't ever go further than that.

Now, the declared frequencies goes as high as 1.2GHz, so you can change scaling maximum to higher values (with setcpu for instance).

Does the built in WiFi hotspot work?

No, and that's unlikely it will ever work, we'll have to stick to Adhoc stuff.

Why would you need another kernel ?

The kernel included here have pretty much everything available to other kernels /o\

Works fine here.

Oh, another thing: i've noticed that there's still the old SuperUser and not the new one...are you sure is fixed?

For my defense, it's not the link I was given

On another note, it seems H264 isn't totally fixed, some videos have wrong colors. (something like chrominance channel has an ~ 60pixels offsets on y axis on some videos oO)
