Guest phhusson Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 aaarrgh I just get bootloop after flashing the 1.100.39 bin Isn't it supposed to work with it ? I hope you didn't flash Froyo_fixY.zip right after Froyo.zip, like mentioned in first post.
Guest ahsid Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 I hope you didn't flash Froyo_fixY.zip right after Froyo.zip, like mentioned in first post. I've been flashing to many roms these day...
Guest mmisep Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Just another noob question, can I flash this rom over the official acer 2.1 rom?...
Guest simoneser Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) To phh: do you remember my bug on Vodafone IT SIM Card (operator name incorrect: Vodafone Omintel N.V.)? Issue #1 in bugtracker. Your Froyo is so good that i tried to fix it myself, and...i did a workaround ;)! I don't know why but it chooses the full operator name insted of the short one. So I've renamed the full name Vodafone Omnitel N.V. in Vodafone IT followed by 10 spaces, because if i delete these empty spaces with Hex Editor it says "No Service". In this way it works, even if i have some empty space in Lockscreen and Notification bar, but it's better than before. (you can see it from the attached screenshots) :D You have to put this file in \cache\d\system\lib Please insert this fix in next roms  http://www.mediafire.com/?qxzpyaezynnt2w4 Edited July 21, 2010 by simoneser
Guest akira.pwr Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) Just another noob question, can I flash this rom over the official acer 2.1 rom?... If you mean .39bin, yes, i have it on top of this. EDIT: Sorry, I forgot: thanks to PHH and Simoneser for the work you've done today. What's the goal of the new fix? A new superuser app? Guest ahsid Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Just another noob question, can I flash this rom over the official acer 2.1 rom?... Yes It's written in the first post.
Guest allaisi Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 i'm flash this froyo on .39 bin and the wifi not work! why? but the rom is wonderful...Phh awesome work! fix the camera and this rom is the best rom for liquid!
Guest mmisep Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 @Akira.pwr Ok, thanks... @Ahsid as far as I can understand "any?" is really not an affirmative expression, but that could be just my bad english, thanks anyway...I'll try this rom seems near perfect, just missing the camera, but I can live with that...
Guest akira.pwr Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) On Italian Acer site there is this new release (i know it's not new) http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/OS...&SC=EMEA_17 I'll try froyo on top of this. Edited July 21, 2010 by akira.pwr

Correction : as for what I've tried, 05 and 39 version work with it
Guest akira.pwr Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Correction : as for what I've tried, 05 and 39 version work with it I confirm, I've tried both. (Maybe the 0.5bin is better, but if you have a "special edition liquid" it works perfectly with .39bin too)
Guest simoneser Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 http://www.4shared.com/file/14LBAR6X/FRF91...xed_signed.html Downloaded it. Took Froyo.zip (not the fix) Extracted both. Opened phh's Froyo folder and deleted \app and \framework folder (if you want also build.prop) Replaced them with the pack of the link i posted Zipped new phh's Froyo package and flashed from recovery, followed by its fix  No wipe :D Noticed that GSensor isn't working ;) with FRF91 of that pack (I've seen that is a bit modified, in fact there's the % in the battery bar on the notif.bar)
Guest tenomis Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 great phh, just tried fix9 and it's amazing! I know you don't have motivation in fixing camera, but if you'll do this, many of us (as me for example) will use Phhroyo as everyday rom, and you'll have more beta testers and supporters!! Please think about it!! Thank You phh!! :D
Guest phhusson Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Constantly reboot Could you be a bit more specific ?
Guest acer liquid Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Brush the rom 1.100.09 ,FRF50 update, and fix3 and fix10 update
Guest bais Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Did you flash the fix right after you flashed the rom? If yes you have to reflash Froyo, wait for first boot, then flash the fix.
Guest acer liquid Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Did you flash the fix right after you flashed the rom? If yes you have to reflash Froyo, wait for first boot, then flash the fix. i know what problem only to flash fix10。。

Guest acer liquid Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) pphusson where is the theme? Edited July 21, 2010 by acer liquid
Guest fischschneehase Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Is the graphicbug completely fixed or just reduced?!
Guest phhusson Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Noticed that GSensor isn't working  with FRF91 of that pack (I've seen that is a bit modified, in fact there's the % in the battery bar on the notif.bar) For me gsensor works, but wifi doesn't work ....
Guest phhusson Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 What folders did you replace? Everything but some libs (system/lib/hw, and libaudio I'd say). Concerning your gsensor problem, the problem might be wrong build.prop, the board name must be salsa.
