Guest simoneser Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) Thank you phh, now GSensor works (based new build.prop from your rom). For WiFi (i'm sure you already checked...) there must be something in \etc or \lib (etc\wifi?) You should do an "accurate" replacement and see which is the cause (maybe it wasn't working even in your first port of FRF50 and you had to replace something, don't know): like replace all folders, except \etc and so on... Hope you solve it  Edited July 21, 2010 by simoneser
Guest zengyu Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) phhusson can you port decoders of Stream. "it's working. Divx/Xvid/MOV/WMA/H264/MPEG4 is working. AAC/AC3/MP3/OGG/DTS too. Maybe some others. Somes vid's are smooth, some other not. HD playback in 720p is really smooth, but not @1080p. the Stream have those decoders natively" sorry for my bad english Edited July 22, 2010 by zengyu
Guest xaueious Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 There are some updates to the bcm wireless driver that was done on the EVO that are not present in ours. Maybe the guys porting the EVO to Cyanogemod would know something about it.

The problem is that Acer (posibly helped by broadcom.) did a weird thing concerning driver load, that's all.
Guest simoneser Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Hi phh, how it's going with FRF91 porting? :(
Guest phhusson Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Hi phh, how it's going with FRF91 porting? :( Still annoying wifi.
Guest Sph1re Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 hi PHH! Congratulations and thank you again for your work! on the last difficult point nobody can help you? LCR & others? you're on the home straight! I wish you full of courage :(
Guest simoneser Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Still annoying wifi. Can't you try to replace wifi related stuff of FRF91 with the ones from your FRF50? Did you try to replace only \app and \framework? If yes, wifi is working in that case?
Guest phhusson Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Can't you try to replace wifi related stuff of FRF91 with the ones from your FRF50? Did you try to replace only \app and \framework? If yes, wifi is working in that case? I'm not going to do that anyway /o\ Still I know the problem, it's quite doable to fix it, just damn annoying :( on the last difficult point nobody can help you? LCR & others? Not really, I'm the kernel guy of the family....
Guest ahsid Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) btw, about making the notification leds work, take your time, I really don't miss them... :( EDIT : please lovers of notif leds don't hang me ! :( Edited July 22, 2010 by ahsid
Guest davidevinavil Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Phh i hope you fix proximity sensor. It's easy when i'm calling close or put in standby the call...
Guest xaueious Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) You are probably well aware already, but here I rant on anyway I just meant that they have an updated wifi driver that's all. Google/HTC have help from Broadcom too so this might as well be useless http://github.com/CyanogenMod/cm-kernel/co...ireless/bcm4329 http://github.com/CyanogenMod/cm-kernel/tr...reless/bcm4329/ Evo commits. http://github.com/CyanogenMod/htc-kernel-s...db074a7fbbc4d0f http://github.com/CyanogenMod/htc-kernel-s...87c10867e5740db http://github.com/CyanogenMod/htc-kernel-s...7318473d9eb32ed Ignore me if this doesn't make any sense. The bcm4325 driver structure is similar to the bcm4329 one... That's why I brought it up. Edited July 22, 2010 by xaueious
Guest fischschneehase Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Realy great rom :( what about the oc? I testet the eclair images but they wont boot up...
Guest simoneser Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Read first post!!! This rom is overclockable to 1175mhz, but stock is 768mhz. You can overclock it with SetCPU (search on xda for the free version)
Guest bais Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) EDIT: Too slow xD Edited July 22, 2010 by bais

Guest mmkim Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Happy ? so far so good :( and this is a good rom at first for froyo50 now! just drain battery so fast & no Wifi only. :(
Guest xian1243 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Battery life is fine... and WiFi works just fine too. You must be using an older version...
Guest Quipeace Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Almost afraid to ask, but would a kernel with lets say 1.25V at 998MHz be noticeable easier on the battery than at 1.3V like it is now?
Guest xian1243 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) Nevermind *edit* Edited July 22, 2010 by xian1243
