This ROM has AVS, which means that it adjusts the voltage when NEEDED. So it could very well already be at 1.25V... it's called adaptive voltage scaling... battery life with AVS is already at least 15% better... my phone now lasts a day. *yay*

Lol what ?

If you would take the time to refresh your page, you'd see that I corrected myself. No need for sarcasm, phh. I made a mistake, and I edited my post. Big woopdie doo.

Did you overclock?

I had the same problem on Oc'ed Eclair. Lowered the OC and then it was working :(

Battery life is fine... and WiFi works just fine too. You must be using an older version...

In first post, he no promise Wifi can work.......ok . :(

I really test it 3 times for his difference fix.

Everytime Wifi cannot work is a REAL THING. and drain battery sure very fast.

one day before auto phone off. because no electric for battery.

not just me say that above!! :(

older version?? I download for his first post.

I apologize if this question has been asked before...

but my battery life was really bad today, and it is because that my display seems to be "on" all of the time..

when checking the battery status the display have used approximately 79% of the battery..

is this something you guys also have or is it something with my liquid? Maybe aan app that doesn't let the display sleep?

WiFi is working here, not perfect (somtimes i get disconnection even if there's the WiFi icon on the status bar), but it's working.

Battery life for me is the same of Eclair.

Another thing I've noticed is my Power Control Widget: sometimes it happens that (for example) i start GPS, then disable it from settings, but in the widget it's displayed on..seems that it doesn't refresh....or i press the toggle WiFi\GPS icon of that widget but the icon is always displayed ON even if i click and icon disappears from the status bar

@phh

How's it going with Sense+froyo?

I think I've seen you write something about it somewhere, but I don't remember :#

I gave up on it for the moment, I'm still on FRF91, and some wifi changes.

I'm flashing phhroyo over 0.9 bin, let's see if works better than .39...

I think it's better to leave Sense for last, and solve first all the fixable bugs here :(

Agree, but I think I've seen him write something about it today, so I just had to ask:)

If someone interested, PHHroyo on .09bin works perfectly. :(

I noticed the same thing, the display is using a whole lot more than it used to according to that screen.

Maybe I missed something, but is it possible to tether with this? I tried using Liquid Tether and I can connect with another computer to the ad hoc network but no internet access.

How do you do? I mean that almost everyone have better battery life, not totally poor ones...

Also i can't see how display can stay on. Just in case i checked that automatic backlight doesn't do such things and it doesn't seem to. Perhaps you have a weird setting somewhere?

Again, it just works for me!?!

For the screen, i only noticed that it's using 75% of the resources in Settings>About phone>Battery use, but for me, as I said, battery life is good :(

PS: I use manual backlight

In my opinion is the automatic backlight to drain a lot of battery because it doesn't work well, as I set it at a determinate percentage the battery life is like Eclair.

I have the same "issue" with screen using more percent than before. Anyway it's a minor thing since Froyo is awesome. Thanks a lot phhusson !

Any clue why setCPU cannot apply OC after boot ? It first says read_only (cannot get root privileges), then if I run it a second time, all goes well but it has not set the max freq (i have to change the max value to resync setCPU).

Thanks for the answers, I will try manual brightness today and put it around 50-60%..

Good luck with the nice work Phusson, but give yourself a break sometimes.. seems like all we do is complaint about things not working...

Hi thanks for the awesome rom! One question: It seems that adb isn't working. Is that a known problem or is it just me? it says "device not found".

And yes, in enabled usb debugging!

@phhusson

The core version is a vanilla version. Would it be possible for you to make a Desire or Galaxy theme?

Guest simoneser

I'll post those themes when he'll release the FRF91 port. I am already running on Galaxyquid theme, and made the Desire port :(
