Guest fischschneehase Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I'll post those themes when he'll release the FRF91 port. I am already running on Galaxyquid theme, and made the Desire port :P Great thing;) :( any date or time when you will release frf91?:(
Guest simoneser Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) I'll not release a FRF91 port. I'll wait that phh release his FRF91 update, that will be surely better :( Edited July 23, 2010 by simoneser
Guest Quipeace Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) I'm back to Xian's eclair for now, I love how seemless that feels, while froyo can still stutter every once in a while. I had my display set on the lowest manual brighness, but I didn't use it long enough to say anything about the actual battery life. I will definitely come back once Froyo is a little more mature, I can't wait to see what rom developers are going to do with this :(. PS: Any plans to fix the automatic brightness? After all, with the new power widget it's really easy to switch from and to it, and having the screen accedently set too bright during the evening or night blinds you for a second or two... EDIT: By the way, how long does it take to get a network signal for you guys? I eventually connect, but it takes way longer than on Eclair. Edited July 23, 2010 by Quipeace
Guest mmkim Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) This post has been edited by xian1243: Today, 19:19 VS Today, 19:18 Of course you fixed quickly, as I told you on IRC you were wrong.... Xian will be updated to do just what their own speak out........info Not have available to download for froyo. anyway, just wait your froyo91. Edited July 23, 2010 by mmkim
Guest phhusson Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 PS: Any plans to fix the automatic brightness? After all, with the new power widget it's really easy to switch from and to it, and having the screen accedently set too bright during the evening or night blinds you for a second or two... Plans, but feels annoying. EDIT: By the way, how long does it take to get a network signal for you guys? I eventually connect, but it takes way longer than on Eclair. Yeah, I'm still not sure why, and currently I really don't care, since it still gets a connection less than 10s after start .. For the screen, i only noticed that it's using 75% of the resources in Settings>About phone>Battery use, but for me, as I said, battery life is good :( PS: I use manual backlight Oh wait... You're only speaking about this stupid info in about ? I thought the battery life was actually poor, and that screen was kept on.... Any clue why setCPU cannot apply OC after boot ? It first says read_only (cannot get root privileges), then if I run it a second time, all goes well but it has not set the max freq (i have to change the max value to resync setCPU). Edit /system/build.prop and add a persist.maxcpukhz property to the appropriate frequency. Pperhaps there are other ways to apply persistant properties, I don't really know these stuff. Hi thanks for the awesome rom! One question: It seems that adb isn't working. Is that a known problem or is it just me? it says "device not found". And yes, in enabled usb debugging! Can't say anything but that it works for me :/
Guest Andy__P Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Can't say anything but that it works for me :/ Hm weird, maybe it's because of .39 bin? Which one are you on?
Guest Quipeace Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Hm weird, maybe it's because of .39 bin? Which one are you on? I'm on .39, everything is working fine here. Have you tried rebooting both your computer and your phone?
Guest akira.pwr Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Anyone have FC of launcher pro plus? I've changed launcher (adw) because of fc.. I have problems with mms too.
Guest Andy__P Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I tried restarting the phone and the adb daemon. Didn't restart the computer yet since i'm at work
Guest CedricGatay Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Edit /system/build.prop and add a persist.maxcpukhz property to the appropriate frequency. Pperhaps there are other ways to apply persistant properties, I don't really know these stuff. Works like a charm, thanks for the tip !
Guest simoneser Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Anyone have FC of launcher pro plus? I've changed launcher (adw) because of fc.. I have problems with mms too. No problems at all I tried restarting the phone and the adb daemon. Didn't restart the computer yet since i'm at work Try to give these commands: adb kill-server adb start-server adb devices
Guest ma4000 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 asked this question somewhere else and didn't get an answer, so i ask it here: whats the good in trying to get the frf91 update (which is made for nexus one) working instead of an AOSP port? i think i read on twitter that piter1225 has it working, so i'm interested to hear what the differences are? personally i think "AOSP port" sounds a lot better than "a ROM originally made for the nexus somehow shoehorned into our liquids" :( keep up the great work!!
Guest Andy__P Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 No problems at all Try to give these commands: adb kill-server adb start-server adb devices Yea that's what i did already. Anyway it works now. I reinstalled the drivers. That did the trick. Thanks!

Piter uses an AOSP made for desire, that's way better uh ? koud is trying to get running a true AOSP from codeaurora, it's getting better, but still not fully fonctionnal.
Guest xian1243 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 FRF91 was pulled from AOSP and built with *a few edits* for the Nexus, which has similar hardware. AOSP for Desire is not a better idea, what phh has running is... well... dominates. :( Like phh said, true AOSP is being worked on. Porting AOSP from the Desire and actually BUILDING AOSP is not the same. The latter is much better... Kudos phh to the great progress!
Guest Scsiborg Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I tried restarting the phone and the adb daemon. Didn't restart the computer yet since i'm at work I bet you havent enabled debugging!

Guest phhusson Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 FRF91 published :-) I've also cleaned up first post concerning bugs. This build have a lot of changes under the hood, please report any bug ! The update from FRF50 doesn't work correctly (apps' data are lost), so don't forget to backup !
Guest bais Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Interested to know the changes compared to FRF50 + fix10. Anyway, having FRF91 update is great thank you phh!
Guest Recordsman Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Hi phusson, thank for your job. I donated 2 euros. I apologize if that little. Sorry for my english
Guest bais Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) I guess it's included in the ROM :( Anyway, a stupid question: How can I change the Status bar text to White? Edited July 23, 2010 by bais
Guest gamadril Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 It works, thanks. The only thing not running the SD card
Guest cacolol Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 it looks awesome !! I think you can also create a wall with this picture, it will be cool too :(
