Guest jezze boi Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 I have used three different Omnia 2's and i have noticed that when you lightly touch the screen, it acts like you quickly slid from the middle of the phone to your area of touch this gets really annoying with swype since it swypes a word when i just want to put a letter... i wanted to ask if this problem is universal, or just specific to my three devices... is anyone else experiencing this? or you just apply more pressure onto the screen?

I've had a similar experience while reading a news story or scanning a long device file such as the Windows folder. Guest jezze boi Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 so... it's universal? my i910s didn't have this problem (just horrible accuracy)
Guest WhoTheHellAmI Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 i havent noticed it, but that don't mean its happening on my phone...there will be times that i am trying to type out a word that swype dont know yet, and it will try to swype them together because i press the letter too quickly

I was noticing this on my i920, but I've since got a replacement and haven't noticed it again, yet.
Guest jezze boi Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 if anyone can confirm that this is what happens to their phone at times. It gets really annoying and i'll endure it if it's universal to all i920s video of me demonstrating the defect mostly happens at the edge of the screen... have to apply too much pressure on the screen
Guest KSamp Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 My i920 started doing it about 3 months ago...getting ready to send mine in monday
