Guest dshiff Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Thanks, will be eagerly waiting, as in order to fix BiDi issues for Right-to-Left languages the framework.jar has to be modified.
Guest Dongerado Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Thank you very much for this rom ( 7 o´clock). It works stable. I am testing it since 3 days and i found two small bug/problems on my device: 1. When I Hold (long) the optical-mouse button to take a picture, the phone goes into standby. Short press: No Problem (expept a wiggly picture) 2. SetCPU is not able to save my settings. After a reboot I always have to start Set CPU again to make my settings work again... (No, apply on boot doesn´t work) Does anyone have suggestions?
Guest Szogun Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 Hello oClock :( In my opinion your rom is the best 2.1 rom for Desire. I used Five, Six version and I use Seven'o'Clock version. But i found one bug in this version. SMS/MMS application don't show pictures from contact, it's really strange because messaging widget shows all pictures from contacts. I wiped my Desire before flash newest version. I'm waiting for next release :(
Guest Orphee Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 Hello, I'm using your ROM, it is very good, but I have an issue... If I try to make a video with the camera, it crash the phone after 5 seconds... it reboot.. I'm using Seven oClock with APP2SD given in the first topic. Thank you...

I have a Goldcard, and another with APP2SD... I can't use anymore the goldcard to boot the phone. HTC Sense crash because it can't find the ext2 partition in Goldcard (it does not exist in it) I can't use recovery mode from the goldcard :s... I put back my APP2SD card, and LauncherPro crash now... can't use the phone ! Help ! Edited July 29, 2010 by Orphee

There's your problem, that radio is for Froyo, it's not working properly with Eclair ROMs. You need to use 4.06.00.02_2. AFAIK once rooted you don't need to use your goldcard again. But with all the problems that you seem to have maybe it's a good idea to wipe and start all over again.
Guest Orphee Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 I read somewhere it you don't use Goldcard you may have wifi/bt issues... And now I don't know why recovery menu does not work with my Goldcard (it worked before I install APP2SD on the second SDcard)
Guest Orphee Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 Ok it worked... Here is what I did : On my APP2SD SDCard, with ROM Manager installed -I took recovery-update.zip from clockworkmod directory -moved it to the root of my Goldcard SD and renamed it to update.zip -power off the phone and put Goldcard in it. -reboot in bootloader mode (down volume button (hold it) and power) -Go in recovery mode, the red /!\ appears, press up volume button (hold it) and power) Then you are in recovery mode. -choose sdcard:update.zip. it will boot on clockworkmod recovery -Then flash the wanted radio (mine was 32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11.zip) -It ask you to press reboot from clockworkmod recovery to flash the radio -it is now flashing, the phone reboots a new logo appears... -wait until HTC white screen appears, HURRY UP ! Remove the battery !!!!! -Put your APP2SD card in the phone, and boot it. Now it is done, phone works well, camera works well too. And no risk of wifi/BT issues... :( Thank you for your help

Guest Surfinette Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Does "Ten Minutes to Eight O´Clock A.M." include HTC Sense?
Guest oclock Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Does "Ten Minutes to Eight O´Clock A.M." include HTC Sense? Yes, it is based on the official OTA from HTC and it includes HTC sense. WiFi Tethering is included officially in FroYo. More features will follow shortly (ext4, tun, ...). However, htc kernel sources are not released yet, thus some features (trackpad to sleep, undervoltage, ...) cannot be included yet. Best wishes, oC

Just knowing that you're working on it makes it "Nine Minutes to Eight O´Clock A.M." :) Best wishes to you too, Sorin

I assume to comply with licences they need to be fairly quick.

Guest davidcorp Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 9 Minutes 2 Go :-) (see 1st post) Gn8 I could not install this rom form clockworkmod Recovery Mode... I could install all the previous rom without any problems... Inside of the rom there are strange System.1, Meta-inf.1,... folders so the recovery mode fails. Thanks. Davide

Loopback support seems also to be in the kernel, but I did also not test it yet. I will try to compile the module tonight and upload it together with the fixed update. Thanks for your hint! oC
Guest oclock Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 It´s 8 2 8 :) Archive working this time :D DroidWall working! Added xt_multiport module (load from a console as root: "modprobe xt_multiport"). However, i think it is not needed, thus it will be removed in the next release. See 1st post 4 dl.

See 1st post 4 dl. hi oclock however, you made my day extracted the xt_multiport.ko kernel-module and the newer iptables binary, und pushed it per ADB in recovery to the mobile chmodded the files in ADB shell and now its working after reboot (i'm on wip mcr r6) copied the kernel-module to /system/lib/modules and /system/modules and did no "modprobe xt_multiport" so i cannot really say if its needed, will try later thanks and cheers w
