998 for me doesn't work. I'm stuck in the SIM-code screen and doesn't respond to any key or screen, I'm reverting to 920

1GHz version is not overvoltaged.

Alright  I just guessed because there are lots of people who can run 1Ghz on Eclair but couldn't on Donut...

And testing undervoltage properly would be a total pain

And just small overvoltage for 998Mhz for liquids which have random reboots at this freq.?

As I already stated before, it doesn't work.

Oh right, I just found out where to change that, I wonder why I didn't find it before

News flash !

I have flashed the 920mhz kernel, works great !

So regarding the battery i am suprised in a good way. After 9 hours of usage i'am at 43% of battery

What kind of usage did i do ?: about 2h of music, about half an hour browsing the web, 50 minutes of gaming in 2D (while listening to music), three ten minutes phone calls, and a few texts messages and e-mails.

I think it is pretty good for an overclocked rom ^^.

However a moment during the day i could'nt make calls or send texts. I had to reboot and it was fixed. I hope that was an isolated bug and that it won't happen too often.

To sum up: THIS IS GOOD  !

My battery didnt fair that well, also on 920MHz kernel, im on LCR 1.7

Rebooted once, not sure why

Had to restart the phone once because the home screen/launcher wont load for some reason (dont kill it in task manager)

Battery went to 50% after about 5 hrs. 30 mins of music, light browsing, couple calls, thats about it...

Then plugged it in to charge, unplugged at 80%

dropped to 20% after 8 hours, no music, a few calls, messages, light browsing, email

Actually, wireless tethering drains lot of battery..

phusson, could you please provide a standard clock kernel with just netfilter enabled? I'd like to do some tests

I've made version only for 1.100.15

Tested all: 883, 920, 998 -> they are working fine

I have tried all 3 frequency on stock rom 1.100.15, the bug is , when you start wifi, it reboots .

By the way, which setcpu version you are using ? I use the latest version setcpu v2.0.0a , there is no such setcpu.txt file.

Thanks a lot , man !

Which kernel have you flashed?

How about release a Eclair custom kernel that have ramzswap and touch screen patch? That will be greater than ever.

This might be a noob question : Will putting the voltage higher change anything ? => 1,2ghz / 1ghz more stable ?

I'm running that kernel with my MOD, but it should not make any difference...

The SetCpu which I have is 1.5.0a

The setcpu.txt does not appear by itself, you need to create it and copy to the sdcard

Ok, what is the procedure of that ? I mean after I flash the stock rom , then install the overclock .bat, no need to root the phone with superboot ?

The OC'ed boot.img includes superboot (Superuser app and scripts)

The best should be:

- flash 1.100.15

- flash recovery

- flash my MOD

- run .bat with OC'ed kernel

so you will try to compile such a kernel?

Ok, but a 1.3V version :D (and adds static voltage scaling, god knows what happens to battery life with it.)
