Guest Quipeace Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 depends on what else would you like to do.. Perhaps he'd like to make a nandroid backup now that everything is running again XD. (just boot in recovery ("adb reboot recovery") and navigate the menu to backup/restore, it's really straightforward .

Guest Splux Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) depends on what else would you like to do.. Fap? Perhaps he'd like to make a nandroid backup now that everything is running again XD. (just boot in recovery ("adb reboot recovery") and navigate the menu to backup/restore, it's really straightforward . If I make a backup first, can I flash Xian v0.7f without problems after? Or do I have to re-flash my eclair bin first, so I've a clean install of that one first? I gotta learn sometime ^^ "Flash update.zip over v0.7d, LCR 1.7, or any other ROM based on 1.100.05" = I just have to put the zip on my sdcard, launch malez recovery and apply zip? (hope you understand:P) *edit* tried that 0.7f, it was boring, so I'm back to LCR1.7, and it works. No more need for help now:) Edited July 1, 2010 by Splux
Guest intercorp Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 (edited) HI I had Eclair running on my Acer A1 after using the A1 Tool to flash and then i realised it was not rooted so i tried to install superboot whilst having and old update.zip file on the SD Card. Anyway. i got th black screen and everything stopped there. So now i managed to recover an old Nandroid backup and now my phone is not detected to use the A1 tool again. Plus my IMEI says UNKNOWN !!! All i can do now is go into the Malez recovery screen. How do i get Eclair back? I have the Bin file but what can i do if my phone is not recognised. I tried installing the drivers twice on 2 different PC's - did not work. Thanks - i am desperate, please help me! Edited August 10, 2010 by intercorp

You have restored a backup that does not match your current bin file (baseband version) What is the latest bin file you have flashed ? Download this file http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-commu...mp;can=2&q= Reboot in recovery (Volume - + camera + power) USB mass storage toggle => put the LCR_1.8.0.1-signed.zip file on your sd card, REMOVE any file named UPDATE.ZIP file and umount the sd card from your computer press home to exit USB mass storage toggle Flash/test menu Flash zip from sdcard select LCR_1.8.0.1-signed.zip press home reboot Edited August 11, 2010 by malez
