I forgot the password 4 lock screen

I didn't actually forget the pass i think it is changed but i don't know how ! i was using it while it went off ( the battery was low ) and i recharged this and when i turn it on the pass was changed !

I don't wanna lose my phone book is there any solution ?

I think this actually happened to me to. I figured it out really quick though. I think password reset to something simple, like the last 4 digits of my phone number or 0000 or maybe I just pulled the battery out of the phone for a few seconds. I wish I could remember what it was, but I figured it out in less than two minutes so it can't be anything too hard. You are using the windows system lock, right?

soft reset by off button.. the wm lock screen sucks so that button works as with s2u2.. when switched on, before it locks by itself(depends on your setting)......... there are a few options

try resetting your password, change password

or

turn off lock screen and install s2u2..

or

Do A backup eg PIMbackup and do a hard reset (when off press lock button+vol up button+call+off)

or..................... well the list can go on..

how can i disable lock screen ? it locks very fast that i cant even see today screen !

connect it to PC. If only you have SPB Backup installed and set, you can force it to do backup via SPB Backup Sync program on PC. I did it twice with my old imate 9502... the windows built in lock is suck, it can't remember any simple password sometimes...

I had the same issue. I used the soft reset feature (Wish I didn't) and the phone no longer recognizes my password. So at this moment I cannot gain access to my phone. sheesh!

Any assistance would be great.

and I guess that you use WM6.1?

lil suggestion: update it to 6.5 since it's a known bug for 6.1...

I used Imate ULTIMATE 9502 with 6.1 before and I got same issue....

Well if you guys haven't unlocked your phones yet, I would suggest just doing a hard reset using the buttons on your phone. I don't think that will require you to enter your passwords.. but you will lose your information that is saved on the phone..
