Now what do I do?

I am in the process of rooting my friend's G2 Touch. You may have seen my earlier post: http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-hero...obile-g2-touch/

However, I have now got Android SDK working, and the PC recognizes the phone.

As I speak, the G2 is getting flashed with a new ROM (the one I needed to downgrade to to root, from an RUU .exe file). The process that apparently takes '10 minutes' has taken over half an hour. I'm a patient guy, I'll wait a bit more...

Or should I just pull the cable out?

Help ASAP please! Now what do I do!?

Don't pull out the cable and what are you flashing the RUU or the .zip

It said update failed in the end, and the G2 simply rebooted. A lucky escape! I am trying to flash the RUU, the downgrading part of rooting the G2.

I'll try again later, would a different RUU help?

RESOLVED: WIPED AND REFLASHED USING VISTA.
