Guest trunks986 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 thanks... another questions... how can i uninstall that version of Titanium backup?? i've a newest version and is better than preinstalled
Guest Suxsem Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 warning...the preinstalled version it's full...anyway... "adb remount" > "adb shell" > "rm -f system/app/Titanium-Backup-V-281.apk" > "rm -r -f data/data/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup" or use estrongs file manager with root option
Guest trunks986 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 i've done... i have a full version that have more options than yours

Guest Umka Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 I'm sticking to my Frankendroid ROM right now. What is Frankendroid ROM?
Guest xian1243 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Don't include warez in your ROM please. The free version of titanium backup is fine...
Guest scrap2434 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Wow.. this is super fast.. Love it !! A couple of issues I found already 1. When you first boot up, the screen goes crazy, and the pull down menu always comes down, tick boxes get ticked automatically, basically it is like the screen is being touched when it isn't. This seems to go away after a minute or two and hasn't repeated since. 2. Task killer kills live wallpaper and it defaults back to the normal wallpaper.

The free version of titanium backup is fine... it is very old version and it is a too important tools... edit: anyway...it's the original app (not cracked)...just a little edit in data settings... Guest Umka Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) Using for 2 hours. Great so far. Any way to include Music Mod with widgets? Thanks for great work... BTW: I have checked - and my Titanium backup seems to be free version, so it does not seem to be warez. (does not matter to me cause I purchased a donate version anyway.) One issue found: After restoring APNs using Titanium backup, i go to Wireless Settings to edit the APNs. When I tap the restored APN i get a Force Close error. Edited July 4, 2010 by Umka
Guest Liquidator Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Yup, I wiped.... it has come back when I am playing games... it is near impossible to play because my screen is going nuts with touch inputs everywhere As I read elsewhere on the forum, that is a consequence of the screen sensitivity alteration.
Guest scrap2434 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Yeah, I had the same issue on the batista ROM as well... yet the LCR ROM was fine....
Guest Quipeace Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 As I read elsewhere on the forum, that is a consequence of the screen sensitivity alteration. It seems that some screens are a tiny bit more sensitive than others, so in this case the sensitivity is set too high for that specific screen. Should default to a more conservative setting...
Guest scrap2434 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) Already changed it to medium... no good.. will try Low and see edit: Even on low it does it... but I also just found out I don't have to touch the screen, i can just hold a finger over an area and it registers.... so I must have a super sensitive screen on my Liquid. (Black one if that makes any difference) Edited July 4, 2010 by scrap2434

Guest Umka Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 for the APNs... can you post your titanium backup folder? thanks Cannot post it here cause it is over 20Mb... can I sned it to you somewhere? a maybe you only need particular files related to APNs?
Guest xian1243 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) My ROM has it set to 30 (defined in kernel, added in by phhusson), here is a gscript to set it to 35 (which should fix your problem). Run this script with SU permissions (on every boot). Download link In order for it to execute on startup, you need to put it in /etc/init.d, adb push this file into /system/etc/init.d if you like the settings. Download link Xian Edited July 4, 2010 by xian1243
