Can anybody confirm if the lockscreen-backlight dimming issue is solved?

in previous wm 6.5 ROMs, when you wake up the phone and lockscreen comes up, the backlight is dim. There are no solutions according to most discussion threads on the net. It's a backlight.dll issue.

Just wanted to know if it is addressed in the new ROM.

Well, I guess it was meant that way as you said, but they should have made that optional. A google search of "i8000" "lockscreen" "backlight" shows that many people would rather have it lit. If not for purely recreational (a quick glimpse of the lockscreen picture) reasons, at least some people have complained about difficulty searching for the slider under the sun.

I would really like to know if there is any change in the new ROM.
