All,

My company forces a password lock when I set up to sync with Microsoft email server.

Anyone knows how to by-pass this?

Thanks

My company does the same thing and I have to unlock my phone every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done as far as a hack is concerned. It's a binary setting in the registry that would just be enforced again once you receive email on your phone.

I've learned to live with it, but there are a couple of things that you can do...

- Use MS voice command and Advanced Configuration Tool. Open Advanced Config Tool and go to the MS Voice Command entry. Change "Respect Keylock" to "NO". This will allow you to use voice dialing without having to unlock your phone each and every time you need to make a call.

- Use a password that is as easy to enter as possible - this depends on the password policy enforced by the MS Exchange Server. At least my company makes that part easy by requiring just 4 characters with at least one upper case letter and one character. I enter my password so that I simply press buttons that are right next to one another.
