Guest EddyOS Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I included both, but only see Development Tools. Did you wipe AFTER flashing the ROM? If so, that's why it's gone as it's in the /data partition not the /system partition
Guest djtosh Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 everytime i flash this rom my desire gets stuck st the white htc screen, doesnt even get to the quitly brilliant bit, why is this happening?
Guest sorchard Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Did you wipe AFTER flashing the ROM? If so, that's why it's gone as it's in the /data partition not the /system partition Aha, that must be it. Thanks.
Guest xTc is loVe Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Network Location works in Third Party Apllication and Google Maps. But not in Genie Widget and in HTC Flip Clock and not in HTC Weather Apllication. In all other apllication it is very very fast like The Weather Channel. Any fixes out there? o.O I live in Germany
Guest omar7955 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 For those whos desire gets stuck on htc screen after flash. it seems to be the "plurk" option that makes this happen. make a built without it, it seems to work for me
Guest OJNx8g Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Is the echo problem that exists in FRF91 fixed in this ROM? (the other person can hear themselves talk and speaker phone is unusable?)
Guest Nicke Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Is the echo problem that exists in FRF91 fixed in this ROM? (the other person can hear themselves talk and speaker phone is unusable?) No echo here.
Guest EddyOS Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Is the echo problem that exists in FRF91 fixed in this ROM? (the other person can hear themselves talk and speaker phone is unusable?) Yes as it's using a new Desire radio from HTC...:)

Currently stil running on a Nandroid backup.
Guest OJNx8g Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Yes as it's using a new Desire radio from HTC...:) Sweet as. Looks like I'll be slapping this on my Desire tomorrow evening! Cheers for the reply :D
Guest theateam1979 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Hi Omar I have already cooked without "plurk" but still get stuck on the htc screen :) have everything apart from WaveSecure, AmazonMP3, QuickOffice and have selected A2SD+, Radio and Exchange 2010 SSL fix. Gonna cook some more to see if i can get this working. Guest Chandler3224 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 It seems that I'm not the only one getting stuck on the HTC screen. I wonder if we can figure out what it common in our problems. I wouldn't know where to start though...
Guest marshmellowman Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Would you not get that if you remove the lock_screen APK from the ZIP file? that worked for me, i removed htclockscreen.apk and htclockscreen.odex via adb shell (in recovery mode). cheers!
Guest djtosh Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 (edited) ok ppl its got nothing to do with the sd card partion cos the majority of ppl experiencing this, including myself, were running r4 with a2sd+ so its not that. for comparison sake this is the contents of what i am cooking Edited July 13, 2010 by djtosh

I think that, by quoting the kitchen, only the defaults are showing. Not your selections. Mine are below Selected Development Tools Removed Titanium Removed Wavesecure Removed Wifi Status Indicator Selected A2SD+ ONLY Selected Exchange Fix Included Radio Image However I've tried many different bakes. Without radio image, all/none of htc sense stuff, accepted defaults, A2SD then A2SD+ None seem to work. Edit: *sigh* I've given up. Ran a nandroid restore. I need my phone back for the rest of the day. Will be able to reply if anyone has any questions though... Edited July 13, 2010 by Chandler3224
Guest tk1978 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 that worked for me, i removed htclockscreen.apk and htclockscreen.odex via adb shell (in recovery mode). cheers! i removed both directly in the zip file befor moving it to sdcard and flashing..works too
Guest djtosh Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 ok my latest build is booting the only thing i changed from previous builds is that i removed the exchange server thing, are other people including this?
Guest theateam1979 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 ok my latest build is booting the only thing i changed from previous builds is that i removed the exchange server thing, are other people including this? I have been including this will try a cook without it
Guest johnassel Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 For me unchecking the "Exchange fix" option did the trick, the new release is booting now flawlessly. :)
Guest battletank Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I suffered the white screen hanging. I went back into recovery, cleared the cache, chose advanced options and cleared the Dalvik cache, then rebooted. Bingo, it booted.
