I agree with DiscoHero. Tried speaker and it works as DiscoHero described. Also battery life is lower. I checked battery use and I think that WiFi is now using more power then in 2.1 (I have always WiFi on).

How about we start a MCR bugzilla or something?

I'd be up for logging any bugs on something like this if it made Pauls life easier by having an easier to view bug list

is there an ETA for the pre-bakes?

I've also experienced a few bugs on different ROM's, after a reboot some apps/widgets are gone (AudioManager Widget) and some don't remember my settings (official Twitter app). Next to that, the icons on the home-screen are showing no pictures for a while, after a few minutes they are back :S

Just installed this r4 version over MCR r3.1 (the only two modifications are disabled Amazon MP3 and enabled A2SD+). No wipe.

Everything works fine and Froyo is really smooth. Nice to use.

Just one small problem, I have wrong characters appearing in the HTC Music application in the title/album/etc.. fields (Chinese chars). Even after clearing data and reloading the application the displayed fields are wrong. The files are AAC files. They displayed correctly with the previous ROM (MCR r3.1).

Hi all

For the last three days the rom works fine, but now the phone don't go in standby mode anymore (running time and active time is ever the same) and the battery drops 30% in 2h without any user actions.

Wifi, bluetooth and Sync is turned off...

i flashed the rom from yesterday and the battery issue seems to be solved.

This is great then, because I think it would definitely help.

I can also confirm battery is amazing... This morning, after it had been on since last night, I went at turned on 3G. Normally I only do this if I'm outside wifi range and need the speed... As we speak I'm 80% battery... fiddled a lot with the phone, spoken on the phone about 30 minutes... I would say thats impressive

What I liked bout Android was the ability to go into settings and check the Accu to see what was sucking the life out of my advice. I once had an app

Probably more an app issue but I mention for information. Juice Plotter does not plot any charge/discharge stats. Perhaps Froya keeps the stats in a different location?

Haven't had any issues here with juice plotter and ultimate Juice.

I finally got rid of the com.htc.bgp errors. Bit this was after I removed HTC Location service, so not much good for people using Sense parts (which I practically don't).

But maybe the info is usefull.

I'm seeing "Changelog

on the first / main change log post. Sorry if I'm just being too eager, I just wanted to make sure I'm downloading the right version. Thanks Paul :D

Revoving HTC screenlock causes 'alarm bug' (not able to switch HTC alarm off without rebooting)

In that case use any market alarm app.

Great release.

Thank You
