I'm getting my liquid back tomorrow or at the beginning of next week, if it's repared it will have taken them less than 2 weeks to do it... I think it's worth the try for you too.

Asking for help 20 times in this forum doesn't help. But i have the same problem.

This happend after i did the flash the Desire Rom on Eclair. I flashed those zip files in the right order. Updating to latest official eclair won't help.

Same as i did..

I remember that i had flashed Desire ROM on Eclair ROM and not on Donut...maybe something in radio has been messed up because the .bin doesn't flash every part of the device...I think that is something related with Radio Firmware :angry:

I think that is not a hw failure...but the only way to solve it I think is warranty :D

UH!!!!

Flashed Desire.zip + Desire_E.zip and now in notification bar there's a blinking GPS icon :angry:!

EDIT: confirmed, GPS back working! :D Found 7 satellites ;) Now let's see if it works on standard bin..

HOLY s***!!! IT WORKS ON ECLAIR 2.1 BIN AGAIN!! Thanks Ahsid for the idea.

Guide to let GPS working again:

1) Make sure you have installed Malez Recovery and you are on the latest 1.100.39 ROM (another 2.1 rom will be good, i think)

2) Download Desire.zip and Desire_E.zip from here and put them in the root of the SD

3) Go to recovery (adb reboot recovery \ (with phone turned off) Camera+Vol Down+Power)

4) Do a nandroid backup

5) Flash first Desire.zip and then Desire_E.zip without sign

6) Reboot the phone, and when you are in the home screen (the one with HTC Clock etc) and all it's loaded, turn off your phone and go to recovery again

7) Restore your nandroid backup

8) GPS working again :D

It worked for me :angry: , but I had to do it with the donut version of the desire port.
