WAP on Omnia II not working

I have an Omnia II (GT-I8000) that is finally up and running.

Can anyone please help me finish?

Here are the details:

Version: Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional

CE OS 5.2.21889 (Build 21889.5.0.87)

PDA: I8000NXXJA5

CSC: I8000FAMJA2

PHONE: I8000DXJA1

I have an [E] .:l| Signal

Yet, when i open Opera or IE, I am unable to connect to the internet. If I setup a GPRS Modem connection, it works fine (but, very slowly)

I subscribe to T-Mobile USA.

My phone is set for English (UK).

I was able to setup a GPRS modem connection to T-Mobile; which works.

In addition, I have [E] next to the Signal Strength; which I think implies that I have access to (an logged on) to the EDGE network.

But, when I open Opera, the phone initiates a GPRS connection. My Blackberry never had to initiate a connection; which is the same way a my collegue's HTC HD2.

When I go to Settings -> Network Settings -> Connections, I have:

"My Internet

This connection is pre-configued. It cannot be modified."

When I open the Browser Connection under Network Settings, I have several options (Interne, WAP, Work, and Secure WAP). I cannot access internet with WAP or Secure WAP selected. I believe either of these should be able to give my phone access to the internet.
