Guest Dr12 Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 I have the Bell i8000L and have updated my phone with the I8000NXXJE2 ROM PDA part only. I have read a lot about not flashing the Phone (.bin) part of the ROM on this phone. However, I have also read about few people who have done the update and had no problems. My question is – if I now want to also update the PHONE part of the ROM only, will that erase the data on my phone? I just wanted to know because at this time I don’t feel like reinstalling my apps on my phone. Thanks.
Guest qtilt Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 i just installed the phone part only, it doesn't erase anything. Just be sure to check "preserve device contents" in octans or you will lose my storage and whatever programs you installed to it.
Guest Dr12 Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Sorry to ask, but my main concern is about the main memory -- will the main memory also be preserved with just the Phone(.bin) update? Thanks a million.
