Guest Clemenzo Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 (edited) After cooking and flashing with twu's guide for my Omnia 2 (i8000), I realized the clock panel no longer supports sliding to show time of other cities. This is quite inconvenient for me, so I decided to check it out. Basically the samsung panels are removed, so we need to bring them back. 1) Add back registry changes needed to support samsung panels. 2) Modify titanium_480x800.cpr and titanium_800x480.cpr to include the samsung panels. 3) Include Samsung "Touch Clock" in your rom. Twu's script somehow set the CHome cpr file to Titanium. The stock rom uses SPlugins. To maintain compatibility and ease of adding further mods, I thought we'll continue with Titanium as the default. This means, we could possibly dump SPlugins. I managed to get it to work but landscape still need some work. Attached are the cpr, rgu and screenshots, hope this would be useful. For the rgu, you could alter the "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\Microsoft\CHome]" section prior cooking to set default visible panels and their order for your rom. Disclaimer: This works for me but no guarantee that it would work for you. Try at your own risk, I would not be responsible for any issue caused. Please backup your registry and cpr files prior trying.lite_rom_samsung_panels.zip Edited July 15, 2010 by Clemenzo
