Guest mikerosoftx
Hey, First of all I'm new to rooting android phones. I search the forums and Google, but did not come up with much of anything [not really sure what I should be searching for actually]. I am running a Telus HTC Hero originally with Android 1.6 +Sense [stock for here in Canada]. I Installed Modaco 2.1 r5 - Kitchen Sink -> added everything except HTC CIME, A2SD, and A2SD+. Basically when ever my phone is on Wifi or the 2G/3G data network the spinning arrows that show data transfer, and the arrows under the H are flashing, even when my phone is idle. I installed Network Traffic Counter and it shows continuous data transfer. The big problems with this is that it kills my battery, and eats up my data plan. I'm not sure what other info is needed, but any help would be appreciated. Mike

Guest mikerosoftx
The spinning arrows are the sync symbol. Thanks, I could not think of the name of the function. Is there any reason why it would continually auto-sync? Thanks, Mike
