Guest GeneralLeeBored Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 When I first got my Omnia 2 I installed Google Maps 4.0.0 and I was able to use voice recognition to search for places of interest. I've flashed my phone using JF5 but now I never get voice recognition with google maps. It's even looks like a different version. I go to m.google.co.uk download google maps but still no voice recognition. It still says v4.0.0 .. Have they disabled it or something? Thanks
Guest GeneralLeeBored Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 I think it's not supported in the UK. I might have had my regional settings set to USA. As anyone else experienced this?
Guest ray1234 Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 voice recognition starts from version 4.1. If you're on version 4.0, you won't get it. The latest Google Map is version 4.1.1

Guest qtilt Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 So why everytime I go to m.google.co.uk or m.google.com it always gives me 4.0.0? I just went to m.google.com/maps and was able to download version 4.1.1. Make sure you use IE browser.
