You might need the OpenGL drivers.

When I installed Krazy Kart, it automatically installed additional drivers, and it runs extremely fast on my i920. In fact it's almost too fast to control accurately.

Mine lags. Have installed the opengl v1 drivers and they work with throttlelock so they seem to be installed properly.

I installed everything it asked to my storage.

mine runs really fast. but it's just a little too hard to control the kart because the accelarometer is wayy too sensitive on mine.

PS. I have Open GL driver installed and I don't even run FPU enabler

Well I have JF5 Rom installed, no fpu enabler, and used just the "OpenGLESv1.cab" file in the the opengl sticky for the install of Opengl v1. I have installed the right file for the opengl huh?

Installing Krazy Kart and the device drivers that came up afterwards onto My Storage wouldn't cause the problem would it? I did install the Samsung SDK in the device memory though because it was small.

Crayon physics runs really slow and Asphalt4 Hd runs choppy.

I doubt the rom makes it run choppy as F5 seems more responsive else where.

Crayon Physics doesn't run snappily on mine either, but it's ok considering the fact that smooth response doesn't make much of a difference on CP

Asphalt 4 HD runs just as smooth as Krazy Kart on my phone

PS. FPU enabler speeds up Crayon Physics (to the point where it runs as snappily as it does on iphone) but I don't run it becos it crashes with certain widgets (online widgets) on the homescreen (the crash lasts until I re boot the phone)

Also if the people who it is running smoothly for could say what rom they are running, what opengl version/file they have installed, if they have an i8000, where they installed the game and drivers to, what version of Krazy Kart, if they have their performance set to auto or any other info that may help those who it is running choppy for that would be helpful.

The version of Asphalt 4 HD I am running came with the F5 rom.

I just can't understand why the same hardware phones seem to run so differently.

Is there a way to find out whether opengl v1 is actually working?

My suggestion is , you'd better get a PSP for gaming.

Or try out fpsece... The next version is supposed to have D3D acceleration :(

Well I don't play games that much so wouldn't buy a dedicated handheld game device.

How does what you said help????? Maybe add things that help the forum next time. No one said they bought this phone to play games and I don't think anyone was even complaining.

The question is why some can play these games smooth and others can't.

In my opinion, It's just because the definitions of SMOOTH of everyone are different.

Some might think that if the game runs 15fps is smooth, but some might think that is laggy.
