Guest aslsthlm Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Can anyone confirm that it´s working ?
Guest Aiuspaktyn Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Can anyone confirm that it´s working ? It seems to do the job on modaco r5 wip rom. Thanks. Tested with parrot ck3100 and works perfectly. I have used rom manager with clockwork recovery to apply the patch. Well, i didnt try it with a bluetooth headset but can confirm it rly does free up 20 more MBs of ram and adding 2.0 mflops pts on linpack... :(
Guest Smilgs Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I confirm it is working (only the free memory increase though, no car-kit available to test). I also suggest this is included in Modaco ROM if possible. :(

Guest jlevy73 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Yes, i'm surprised that Paul hasn't included the RAM boost in his ROM. Not working for me but then again I am using the N1. Didn't recognize my Jawbone or car BT unit.
Guest Smilgs Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Is it the free memory boost or the BT kit thats not workin? Not working for me but then again I am using the N1. Didn't recognize my Jawbone or car BT unit.
Guest jlevy73 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Is it the free memory boost or the BT kit thats not workin? BT...the memory boost works fine.
Guest klutsh Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 (edited) Is disabling of Control a good idea? don't some BT Unit's control android? Edited July 23, 2010 by klutsh
Guest mmorselli Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Is disabling of Control a good idea? don't some BT Unit's control android? Like volume up or song skip on A2DP headphones ?
Guest Aiuspaktyn Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 (edited) Not working for me but then again I am using the N1. Didn't recognize my Jawbone or car BT unit. On Desire bluetooth is fully working... I can't try this MOD on Nexus One... :( Edited July 24, 2010 by Aiuspaktyn
Guest Ediso_On27 Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 Can anyone confirm the results of this? I can confirm it fixed my car-bluetooth problems. Until now, i could only use my bluetooth connection in car on stock rom and aosp rom. This fix helped me there. And i can control phone with car controls. thanx for fix, and hope Paul would include it in next versions.

Guest auzeal Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Didn't work for me. Have the following: r5-bravo-desire-modacocustomrom-withadditions-a2sd+-signed 32.42.00.32U_5.09.00.08 framework-res_MDC_r5_WIP_color-signed BluetoothGR_Generic_Froyo_Recovery Flashed with Fake-flash. Didn't even get the RAM boost either... Still having problems pairing with Audi MMI bluetooth... I've only ever had it working the first time I put on the r3.1-bravo-desire-modacocustomrom-withadditions-a2sd+-signed ROM after rooting it. Was working fine until it ran out of battery one day and it never connected to it anymore... absolutely bizarre... Any help would be appreciated
Guest stegg Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 I tried on Legend with modaco 1.31 stock rooted: didn't work. moreover I noticed a slower device, as if there was some process hogging the cpu; I ran linpack and saw no change; no memory added. (anyway my bluetooth normally works with my audi mmi system: I just have some bluetooth disconnection rarely, say once in a week, and got to reboot the phone to make BT connect again)
Guest spammyspam Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 FYI finally got to try this in my car and bluetooth still hoses my phone. It becomes unusable slow and often requires a reset. Any undos?
Guest spammyspam Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 (edited) Any advice on how to roll this back? Or perhaps even how to tweak it ourselves? I've now had to stop using BT altogether, which blows. I'm even consdering moving to a non-Sense rom to see if that fixes things. Edited September 26, 2010 by spammyspam
Guest lpan01 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Hi All, I'm a Android newbie and so I could do with someone letting me know how to install/apply this? I have the zip file on my PC and on my phone, but what do I do next? Cheers Lee.
