I've read through, but haven't seen an answer to the trackpad wake fix. is it still not working?

It's fine on mine, I use trackpad and power wake.

Does anyone else have a permanent sync icon in the notification bar?

I have rebooted the phone and turned autosync off yet it is still there. Does not look like it is actually accessing the net though.

yikes! that is *not* working properly, not at all! I just installed it over r7 and it's absolutely horrible over it. it must be for something other than a 2.09 ROM build. I'ma gonna have to reinstall the ROM again cos of it. cheers for the effort, but I can't recommend this to anyone.

+1

What an abortion!!! basic launcher looks fine .. makes horrible changes to the rest of the framework!

Pushing originals back now! :)

I did the same thing and for the first time i hadn't done a nandroid backup! Back to whatever rom I was using on August 1st, a lot of experimenting has happened since then!

Nice clean r7 coming up.

Not in that regards AFAIK. Working on something which might give a lil boost tho. :)

P

That would be great, the speed of the R7 ROM is only the dissapointing thing on the ROM, everything else is great.

Hi Paul, any chance of adding the android stock browser in? I find it much better than the HTC version.

Thanks.

Yes I would like to know this also. I love some of the adjustments sense makes but I always run launcher pro to get away from the sense launcher. The last thing thats left bugging me is the browser! Anyway Paul I'm absolutely loving this ROM thanks for all your hard work.

cheers, I re-baked (because I had to get rid of that horrendous EspressoBar fail anyway) and just installed it there and it's working. I musta downloaded one of the first versions that had a few 'isms' to it, but now it's all good :) thanks.

Excellent work, Paul!! :D Glad I waited a few more days for the Kitchen to arrive!!

Flashed my own custom-baked ROM with ROM Manager with no issues at all.

Keep up the good work!! :)

Hey Paul, does this have the Wifi-N patch built in or something? I am trying to find a vanilla copy without wifi-N, and just A2SD.

Hi,

I have done a goldcard, full data wip/cache wipe to install r7.

But now I have lose my data connection.

I am with Singtel Mobile, Singapore.

Anyone can help? Is it radio problem? I couldn't have any mobile network = dead phone.

On r6, there is no problem at all. Please assist me.

no offence, but any chance of spending $10 to support all his hard work?

I just did.... its like less than a dollar a month for 12 months, and if you cant afford it, how do you expect pay your phone bill each month?

It's worth it, this rom is great and gives you lots of advantages.... you get to enjoy your phone more, and Paul gets rewarded for his effort so does even more great work, which means you get to enjoy your phone more....

Warmly, Marty

I would like to use APPS2SD+

Can someone please advise what I should choose for a ext partition for this rom? I was thinking about 1gb - do I need to make it EXT2 or EXT3 (which is best) and also, do I need swap space and if so how much?

Warmly, Marty

You can just use ROM Manager and that will partition your SD card for you automatically. The only downside is that you aren't able to allocate how much to be partitioned :)

I am trying out Paragon Partition manager, aparently that can do it all without deleting the contents of the card so I am told, but still need to know what size to make the swap partition if I was going to have a 1gb ext3 partition (its on na 16gb card)

I tried Odexing ,myself via Klutsh his batch file. (Based on Paul's)

But that got me looping sadly.

I'll just leave this in Paul's caring hands.

Paul, any chance of getting rid of the vibrate on power off? It just seems odd there's an option not to have the boot sound but this remains. I just find it really annoying. (A bit like me going on about it I guess :) ).

The extra HTC widgets don't appear to work (Dice and Coin). I can select them for download and this appears to start but then they don't install.

Hi, Paul! Nice work! Your "Official" 2.2 so far is the Best-Perfomance ROM, I've tried! Thank you!

One remark - it doesn't disturb that much, but why in your r6 and r7 the notification icon "Syncronizing" in systray is always on - not only during synchronization?

The other's ROMs don't have this issue..

You have to add your APN Manually.

Thanks, I really love r7!

720p recording is not so good, at playback all of the recorded clips are choppy, or the picture just freeze. Even on my pc.

Sometimes sense just restarts itself, already removed then added back the widgets, but it still restarts by the time.

Does somebody have a problem with amount of alarm snooze?

My alarm clock snoozes only 3-5 times (I cant count while asleep :) but then stops repeating just by itself. Not good..

And one more question: is there some mod or app, which allows to move home screens in peview mode, like r5 and r6 have?

I'm new in this baord an I've flash the r7 yesterday

Now I have 2 questions:

1. The Radio don't work. The programm crashed, when I start them. Where ist the problem? I've create the image with the kitchen.

2. If i deselect the twitter, facebook Programms, does the synch work? I've read in other baords, that the sync w'ont work, if the twitter and facebooks apps are removed.
