Guest HearThatVoiceAgain Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Can someone tell me if they have got Vibrate on shutdown working. I have burned 5 roms now, trying to get this feature to work as it did for me on R5. Whatever I do it doesn't work. Is there a mod file anywhere that I can use since I cant get it to work in the kitchen.
Guest western Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) Here you can download a fully functional Battery Circle: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724778 Just take the "framework-res_HTC_2.2-signed.zip" Edited August 6, 2010 by western
Guest ZeDDiE Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) This bug may alrady have been reported but I'm not in the mood of reading through 45 pages of posts. The 'HTC Music' chops of music and stalls from time to time. This perhaps can be the reason, hope that Paul can fix this for the next release since 'DJ DROID's' rom reads sdcards faster. Guest ZiCoN Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 I know a lot of you like the super circle battery... but has anyone had a look at this one? Thats the one I use :) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733682
Guest FatherD Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 there is a super circle mode for htc 2.2, would this not be the correct one to use now seeing as this is what r7 is based on? Here's hoping .. gonna try that shortly!
Guest twe Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Just out of curiosity has anyone compared the speed of this rom with the official froyo [with slight mods] rom that was also released by Paul? Thanks.

Spot on Diggedy! This one works perfect (although not a big fan of the other colour changes) without messing with your APN settings .. cool bananas :)
Guest FatherD Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 mobile internet/3g not working for me on newest rom which carrier are you with? you might find all the settings needed here: http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html

Guest Noonski Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) Using a custom rom from the beginning, good work! Only i noticed when I'm using my standard browser it's more laggy then previous versions.. When i try to google it a lot more people are experiencing this problem and advising to use for example dolphin browser. Are there more people with the same experience? Laggy Browser can be related to Flash being enabled. Try setting Flash to On Demand in Browser Settings. I know a lot of you like the super circle battery... but has anyone had a look at this one? Thats the one I use :) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733682 +1 but then the updated one for new Sense builds & White Text http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...mp;postcount=98 Edited August 6, 2010 by Noonski
Guest Noonski Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) I'm new in this baord an I've flash the r7 yesterday Now I have 2 questions: 1. The Radio don't work. The programm crashed, when I start them. Where ist the problem? I've create the image with the kitchen. 2. If i deselect the twitter, facebook Programms, does the synch work? I've read in other baords, that the sync w'ont work, if the twitter and facebooks apps are removed. Yes deleting facebook will break Sync, Also Friendstream needs to stay in ROM. Never mind, I baked another ROM and this time HTC's Touch Input was included (I must have excluded it accidentally in the previous mix). I noticed that the HTC calendar widget isn't there anymore though. Is this an MCR issue or has HTC removed the cal widget in general? And the same goes For LauncherPro as for MCR Kitchen Get the Plus version for a measly 2.99and you also get HTC Like widgets in LP. Sorry for the triple post :) Edited August 6, 2010 by Noonski
Guest beady_uk Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Does this rom include support/codecs for playing additional videos and music than the stock sense 2.2. For example avi and wmv. I have seen this included in another Rom , think it was leedroid and thought it would be useful. If not maybe a codec pack could be included as a kitchen option? Thanks
Guest xTc is loVe Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Why its deodexed? =( Want to use APP2SD instead of APP2SD+........ Your ROM´s always was odexed.... =( Thanks anway =) Greatest ROM ever.

Guest seaders Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 with all other ROMs I've baked, including trackpad wake allowed me to turn the screen on with the trackpad and unlock with the menu key. with the newest one I've just done, the trackpad does wake the screen, but now the menu key doesn't unlock. is this a bug, or was it a mistake that it was included before? on top of that, is there any way to customise it even further? what I'd definitely prefer is two presses of the trackpad, but if we can't get that, I'd prefer to have trackpad-wake and menu-unlock back again. thanks all the same though Paul, 'tis a fantastic ROM altogether!

There seems to be a bug with most custom roms including the official rom with USB Mass Storage transfer rates. With the DjDroid rom it appears you can transfer files across to the SD card at whatever you card will transfer at, where as most custom roms and official Froyo, it seems crippled at 2MB/sec. When I use an adapter with my card i can get 17MB /sec transfer rates with a class 10 card, but when connected USB to the phone, I only get 2MB /sec. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=723073
Guest b-hutch Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 quick question that someone may be able to help with and yes I appreciate I am being a bit hopeful but... Did htc fix the bluetooth stack that they screwed in 2.1 that hinders HID devices in the latest official froyo release? 5 I love the MCR releases but have unfortunately been forced to use an alternative non sense based rom in recent weeks due to the known issue with BT HID's. I'm interested in feeback from anyone in regards to both bluetooth keyboards and the wiimote controller solution designed by pikpirs over at xda. cheers in advance,
Guest Mushhushshu Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 For those looking for super circle battery mod there's a new one made from the r7 framework, havent tested the 2.2 one posted earlier but all the other ones Ive tried either deleted APN settings or gave me incorrect status icons when headset/headphones connected. Can confirm this one working with no issues: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...p;postcount=720
Guest djtosh Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 which carrier are you with? you might find all the settings needed here: http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html ye but why do i have to put that in when it is usually done automatically?
Guest pacska Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) Thanks, I really love r7! 720p recording is not so good, at playback all of the recorded clips are choppy, or the picture just freeze. Even on my pc. Hi, same issue here! Anyone else? Can you please test it? Edited August 6, 2010 by pacska
Guest Laban Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 Laggy Browser can be related to Flash being enabled. Try setting Flash to On Demand in Browser Settings. +1 but then the updated one for new Sense builds & White Text http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...mp;postcount=98 Wow, never seen the version with white text. Looks nice! I would love to see this one and also the Super Circle Mod in the kitchen, but I have a feeling that it won't happen... Can I add these files to the kitchen via the upload functionality or do I have to flash them manually?
Guest Arty Marty Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 hmmm.. seem to be getting "android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly" a lot all of a sudden... any ideas?

Can I add these files to the kitchen via the upload functionality or do I have to flash them manually? You should be able to do it like this: Extract framwork_res.apk from the mod of you choice and make a new zip with the following directory/file structure: /system/framework/framework_res.apk and add the new zip in the kitchen. Edit: I got stuck in a boot loop when i tried... so.. this did not work. Edited August 6, 2010 by Nicke
