Guest Subject Delta Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I updated it as i'm updating the kitchen, i'll post a changelog later on! P Aha ok, thanks for clearing that up
Guest Paul Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I de-selected the unmodified and added the modified.. Maps does not show up at all now. No wipe, but i just installed on top of r8. This is likely because of the cert difference between stock and modified. 1 min and i'll tell you what you need to do to fix it. :D P

Guest Paul Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I de-selected the unmodified and added the modified.. Maps does not show up at all now. No wipe, but i just installed on top of r8. To fix: Download this APKInstall via 'adb install Maps.r8.apk'Uninstall via 'adb uninstall com.google.android.apps.maps'Reflash the ROMYou should then be set! (this is the alternative method to a wipe!) P
Guest Noonski Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Just flashed with the earlier posted iptables, but droidwall still pouring out. Error applying iptables rules. Exit code: 1 Sorry I can't be of more help with this.
Guest Dyason Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I need clarification on which version of iptables works for everyone. Care to try this version and report back? P replaced iptables in /system/bin with that version and still no luck in droidwall here
Guest beady_uk Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I de-selected the unmodified and added the modified.. Maps does not show up at all now. No wipe, but i just installed on top of r8. So if i bake a ROM like this, then do a full wipe and then flash the ROM everything will be ok? Sorry to keep asking i just wasnt sure if i needed to install that apk like in your post. Thanks
Guest dezmo Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) Thank Paul for nice rom. It is very good but I've some small problems: - I baked Trackpad Wake Only function, and stock lock screen. The menu button unlocks the screen, what I not really like. Can you please fix it? - There is a standard Android Contacts app baked in, but sorting and search function just not work. (The sorting of names just remain what is the display name in People app. does not matter what I'm choosing in Android Contacts) I've reported it several times in old kichens as well. Is that just my problem ? Can somebody explain it? Edited August 17, 2010 by dezmo

Guest Noonski Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 (edited) Just checked with HTC World Clock and it can live safely with out the \System\etc\clockwidget folder graphics, these are only for the Widget, which again can be removed when removing sense without interupting WorkldClock. (and found out I was forgetting to add HTC Facebook sync to fully test Peep and Friendstream working correctly with the Friendstream widget removed, i was already wondering why a few contact picks where missing) Edited August 17, 2010 by Noonski

P I may have found my problem, have just created a ROM with my original options selected without the following 2: enabled "Advanced - 802.11N " and deselected "Disable 802.11N WiFi support" and now the file size is back to 160MB Thanks Paul :D
