THe nandroid is from 1.5 (Modaco 1.5)

I've just flashed the system.img and boot.img from it and the phone is booting!

You're a genius, the only issue is that she's back on 1.5.

will have another go at putting 2.1 on it as you've shown me how to recover the system if it goes pear shaped again.

Ah........... not fully there yet.

I get a message about an error in data security and I need to contact my service provider.

The only thing I get the option of is to 'shutdown'

However at least I know the phone still boots.

Nah, don't worry it's further than it's been for a while.

Anyway I truly think I'm going to give up and get a new handset for her.

Got the same problem since yesterday evening.

Tried all dloads, amonra etc, crahes while booting. The strange thing is, that it happends after a normal shutdown. When i want to reboot, my Pulse was dead :(

Superboot is working, can even flash amonra and boot into it. Sometimes i got many errors missing a recovery log on E:.

Partition the sd card didnt help, same to flash custom roms, or applying update.app.

i have done nothing special, just a normal shutdown :(
