problem regarding wmdc?

hey guys, can anyone help me out? my wmdc suddenly can't start. i've tried reinstalling it for around 3 times already and the laptop(vista) still cant detect my phone.

there used to be no problem for my laptop to detect my omnia2, start-up wmdc and connect to it. This problem started last week.

The phone isn't even visible in the devices in My Computer when connected via usb.

But it shows there is a device(with a yellow '!' mark next to it) at Portable Devices at Device Manager.

And it also shows that it is connected to the computer in my phone itself.

When i plug in my phone through usb, the error message is that the Windows Mobile-based Device has 'timed out' while it detects for the drivers.

I don't think it's the phone problem because when i try connecting it to my netbook(Windows7), WMDC runs smoothly.

Cracking my head over this problem, please help :(
