[THEME] Blue S v1.6 for Android 2.1[10/08/2010]

:D Looking forward to Blue S V1.6!

The T-Mobile 2.1 sucks, go to the Tre update!!!! Looks better, a bit more reliable than HU 2.1 and more space in system than UK 2.1.

Haha, well it's reliable enough, plus I really got tired of backups and all the procedures :P

I'm just pissed that I can't get this thing fixed, those 3 apps are waay bigger after theming and are the only ones that don't like to be compressed properly :)

BTW, can't fix Browser yellow, it's in an xml somewhere so can't do anything there. Fixed the green in Messaging and the framework. If you have something else before I post the new version now's the time :D

I was actually just using it, and I noticed the green bit.

In the Gallery app, when you select a folder (All pictures, sdcard, etc.) the highlight is green. Selecting a picture after this, however, is blue. Weird.

And when setting a wallpaper, the border is pink!!! (I think this was not fixable, but I can't remember.)

The green folder selection should be fixed, as for the pink borders when setting wallpaper and selecting text I have absolutely no idea. I tried everything, from copying all the framework files from the Tre rom and replacing only the blue ones, trying out other theme combinations and still nothing :D

I have no idea how to fix those.

Which framework, the one packaged with the apps or the all blue one? It's time to learn how to theme than :D It really is easy but don't worry, just say which one of the two and I'll upload the version you want here with the cyan indicators. Cheers!

From the FLB Mod topic:

Tips for custom framework theme users

You will need to modify build.prop as follows:

If using a dark framework theme then set

ro.config.hw_isCustomize=true

ro.config.hw_customizeType=02

If using a light/vanilla style framework then set

ro.config.hw_isCustomize=false

ro.config.hw_customizeType=01

So this means you should do the first one, true and 02. Restart your phone and it should be OK. If that doesn't work try the other option and so on... Good luck, cheers!

Version 1.6 uploaded to the first page :)

Now there are two flash-able zip archives, for those that have previous versions installed the first one is all they need, the rest can try to flash the second one but should check if they have space in system first (it's no problem if you don't, just the apps wont get replaced). Enjoy!

No thanks, I listened when you said that I shouldn't upload just to MegaUpload so I uploaded to Mediafire as well :):D

Blue S v1.6 wouldn't do damage to anyone (especially you since Tre has more than enough space) but it may just happen that one or all of the apps in the add on will not install, you may only get themed Contacts and not Phone or Setting for example, cause there is no space in system. They are the same size as previous releases, and the other apps are much smaller.

So if you had a previous version of Blue S you don't even need to flash the add on, you already have those apps and I haven't made any changes to them. Cheers!

hello, im running the latest FLB rom, and this framework.

but everytime i try using the Touch-Pal keyboard, it presses one letter, freezes, and then closes down? :lol:

do you have anyidea how to fix?

I have no idea why this happens, happened to me as well. I fixed it by going to Settings->Language & keyboard->TouchPal and disabled sound and vibration on keypress. If it continues to close after that I might have to upload a new version :lol:
