hi guys,

im new here and wanted to ask about the battery type of O2. i checked the battery using the *#9911# code and stating that the battery type is 1440mah thats the original battery. i bought a 2200mah battery from cellphone store and the battery life is the same. when i checked the battery type using the code, it shows the same mah. is there any way that i can changed that? i tried searching the net but couldnt find any answer.

help guys.

Never mind the mah figure shown on the *#9911# screen, that doesn't show the real capacity of the battery. Even the original battery is shown as 1440mah, although it should be a 1500mah battery.

Your 2200mah battery must be a 3rd party replacement battery. If the battery life is the same as your original battery, the capacity should be about the same. There is no standard to measure mah figures, so manufacturers print those up based on whatever test they conducted, don't just trust the mah figures, especially if the battery is made in China and from an unknown brand.

Personally, I wouldn't buy any unknown brand replacement battery, there were cases that those batteries just explode for no reason.
