Guest stibbzy Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Hi guys, Has anyone else noticed that the Samsung Photo Album that comes with the latest ROMS (JE-JF) doesn't have the filtering option that the JD ROMS had? I find this feature very useful, and as a consequence I have had to stay with the JD1 ROM. I have tried flashing to a later ROM and then installing the extracted CAB for Photo Album from the JD1 ROM, but everytime I try that option, the Photo Album from JD1 just crashes the phone. The native ROM that comes with later ROMS works, but it doesn't have the filtering option. Any tips?

Do a search of Samsung omnia II tweaks using the search box on this forum and you you should come up with tweaks for both wm6.1 and 6.5 . Read through that of 6.5 there should be something on the photo album. There is a thread on tweaking the omnia. I had read something like that earlier in the year. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I know abou the registry editing that you can do to exclude folders from Photo Album. The thing is, it's much easier to use the filter selection in the JD1 ROM photo album. Thanks anyway. Has anyone else noticed my issue?
