Guest Echo30 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Ok so I'm trying to do this: Samsung forums - increase screen responsiveness I did not find "HKLM", however I found the same options under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > GWE > touch > filter The instructions then say "set minimum tap time to 0" I click on "MinimumTapTime" and I see this: ********************************** NAME MinimumTapTime DWORD Data Base 40 ( )Hex (o)Dec ********************************** Is the "DWORD" value the one I change to zero? I assume yes it is, but I'm nervous about screwing up my phone. There was something else I wanted to ask but I forget. I'm sure it'll come to me, will edit if it does. Thanks again very much for any help.
Guest Echo30 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Ok I went ahead and changed it. No atomic explosions :) Next question. For some unknown friggin reason, Bell decided that they would not include SWYPE in the i8000. I tried SlideIT, it didn't pick up my slides half the time so not interested. Does anyone know if SWYPE is still buried in the OS somewhere? Like can you activate it somewhere in the registry?
