04/Aug 2.09.405.8 (Froyo) pre-rooted no hboot / with radio / deodex

Has anyone who installed this ROM tried to just install the OTA offered? Did it unroot the device and overwrite hboot?

I'm running this ROM and I'm having some issues with (I suspect) the browser where some process starts eating up a lot of CPU or memory and my phone becomes unusably slow, it takes me 4/5 minutes (!) to get into a task killer to kill the browser, after which everything works normally again.

I'm hoping the OTA update fixes this slowness problem, but I don't want it to wipe out my root or make my device S-ON again (I just made it S-OFF using AlphaRev).
