Thank you for sharing your opinion with us! Shadows 6.5 RC4 is the best based on sence functionality . -That said free ram is low at about 50mb . I find after 2-3 hours of heavy use i need to reset. - The sense is very fast though Rapids 6.5 JF5 is a more stripped down version of Sense - but allows 65mb of free memory - its a bit slower then shadows but more ram allows for less headaches with rebooting.
Guest problematika Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Ok...thank u! what about overclocking? does any of this ROMs contain a overclock program? Or we must dl it from some other source? And, how i can see from your posts, both ROMs are 6.5 based. What about 6.5.x?

Guest Asgardi Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 shadow makes a 6.5.x rom but Sense was never made to run on it and imo on 6.5.x it is buggy and has memory leaks. What? I'm running shadow's old 6.5.3 ROM and there are no bugs or problems. It looks much better than 6.5 ROMs. Also what I'm seeing at XDA most of the popular ROMS (like Artemis, Energy...) are 6.5.3 and 6.5.5
Guest chokia Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) The only reason im back to rapid81 sense rom after testing other sense ROM is the nice integration Facebook and Contact. No other sense has this feature even the cab provided by the creator of facebook tab (meltwater of xda) Can you see facebook logo on contact tab and facebook tab? Contact with facebook linked to them will automatically update their contact/fav photo and status in both tabs Edited August 6, 2010 by chokia
Guest problematika Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 I am glad to hear so many different opinions. But in Rapid`s Sense there is no a Landscape mode...am I wright? I got one request for users who read and write on this topic....leave the links with your favorite ROM(s), so other people can decide what they want, and simply, with one click can open pages with their favorite ROMs. Thank you! Cheers! :)
Guest chokia Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 But in Rapid`s Sense there is no a Landscape mode...am I wright? The two screenshots i posted above are not in Landscape?
Guest Andrey G. Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 What is the "sense" of landscape mode in sense 2.5 :) ? It uses additional RAM (it's a big problem in O2), it looks unusable, it slows down the device, etc... My opinion is that Rapid's rom is the best, because everything works, RAM usage is normal, the speed is not as fast, as we might want, but pretty good. WM 6.5 is better for Sense (IMHO), coz every 6.5.5, 6.5.3 build has serious memory leaks plus Sense drains RAM in addition to WM.
Guest shadowangel Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) Why don't you guys start a pool? :) Oh... and the landscape on sense only works in some pages. In others it "may" work and has high chances of locking sense and require a soft reset. Edited August 6, 2010 by shadowangel

I will look around. :) The only time I managed to get it fully working was with GTX CHT... Could even edit the home layout normally. The normal CHT doesn't work on any omnia sense and I don't know why... but imo CHT is very slow on our devices...
Guest pacaq Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 for light customizations i used max manila v3.0 in xda devs, it is intended for sense ui on non htc sense device (touch hd, touch pro) and got customizations for analog clock, retractable slider, more quicklinks etc, gotta feelin its more speedier too for rom i used kydkylin's JE2 rom, bcoz of FB integration too
