[ROM] Xian (LiquidF) v1.2a [11/1/2010] - CM 6.1.0-RC - MIUI 11.05

First I want to say: Awesome ROM. First Froyo ROM I've used as a daily.

The only issue that bugs me is the proximity sensor. I didn't read anything about it not working in the description, but whenever I finish a call the screen has already locked and I'm not able to hang up the call, just have to awkwardly wait for the other person to hang up. Is this just me that's having this issue or is it a known issue? And how do you guys deal with it?

i did use this rom for some time and i remember that every time after a call, the screen used to hang... thats one of the reasons i stopped using it

I have the same problem. I just wait the other problem to hangup or unlock the screen and hangup myself.

Yup I also unlock the screen manually. It is not hard.

First of all best wishes to Xian of a rapid .....recovery ( !!! Malez ? ) and we await his return to the forum.

Second : great work and full of astonishing news & updates ( I never used a Cyanogen ROM before, so this was all new to me ).

I want to ask a question about FLASH 10.1 : I tried in the past PHH's Frf 50 and 91, but encountered no difficulties in making FLASH to work, now with Xian Koud I am not able to make it start, can someone help me please.

Edit: Thanks UMKA, noted I had activated all apps to SD, reverted FLASH to telephone and it works !!, with Xscope, Dolphin and default browser.

No news from our chief dev ? Come on Xian give us a sign !

Proximity has wrong values and is not giving android correct values. What I do is that when I start a call, i press the powerbutton to turnoff the screen (the call will still be on). And then when I am done I press the power button again, unlock the device and press the endcall button

Hmm. Try to uninstall and install again. Also try to use it with defualt browser. I have just installed Flash 10 and it works just great

Right now, that's only in Vanilla Phhroyo, you'll need to wait for XianKoud 1.1 for vibrating capacitive keys.

@marcolino123: I've noticed the same bug in Phhroyo. For those of you who don't understand what he's (or she's, don't want to be a sexist by accident) saying, it's that whenever you receive a message in the notification bar (say, new email from Gmail, or an incoming SMS), the phone doesn't vibrate if put to vibrate mode.

Hello, I can confirm it is the best fast ROM I ever tried , with plenty of news I still have to try.

Some lagginess navigating app menu ( I restored previuos setting I had in LCR 1.7.3 with ADWLauncher )

Only problem ( for me ) is the silly battery consumption . On FLASH browsing goes down 1% every 1 minute in HSDPA ( and the battery goes very hot ) and maybe 1% every 5 minutes in WIFI ( not hot as with HSDPA ). When in standby I tried standard AUTOKILLER Ultimate settings and it went good for first night ( around 5% in 8 hours ) and bad second night ( from 50% to 5% battery left same in 8 hours ).

Would like to have a guide to autokiller settings or something more complex regarding closing applications in some other way ( I also noted that Xscope is frequently ON without advice, reading battery stats ).

Camera is absolutely fantastic , the best camera app ever tried, full specs.

Bluetooth just worked for me, unfortunately when i was no where near my headset. try turning on BT and then restarting.

USB tethering is in "Settings" then "Wireless & network settings" and one of the options on your menu should be "Tethering & portable hotspot"

It doesn't work on mine either :S it seems like nothing works on my Liquid E. I tried airplane mode and then it crashed. I'm gonna go back to LCR 1.8.0.1 cause I can't use my phone, nothing works properly. I'll use this once everything gets sorted out
