Hi there,

What benefits does a custom ROM have over the stock ROM, why is it better and what examples can you give?

Thanks in advance.

Custom ROM's make phones run faster and better, they bring a more Generic look to the whole system (Like the Nexus one or Moto Milestone (DROID)

They come Already Rooted so no need to mess about, they bring a very small (Microscopic, about 1 in a million) risk of your phone being bricked of not done properly.

I use a custom rom as it is so much better and i'd recommend doing it :)

Hope this helps and here's a guide to doing this here
