Music stops playing on screen lock

Hi all, I currently have twu2's ultralite rom for JE1 on my phone and have installed the windows mobile lockscreen. However, everytime I use touch player/windows media player/coreplayer and lock the screen, the music would be paused. This happens also when I switch to other applications.

Would appreciate any advice on possible solutions. Thanks!

mine does the samething on ninjas black/blue 8.7 with pocketplayer and s2u2 installed.

luckly with pocketplayer it has an option to turn the screen off and it still players and once s2u2 kicks in its fine

I assume you have opened touchplayer and gone into its options and unclicked "Pause Playback while using another program". I don't think this effects when the screen is locked though so doubt this will fix your problem

yup i have done the above. for now i switched back to the full je1 which does not have this prob.

I had this problem yesterday when I went for a run, suspected it was lock screen, only realised what was randomly starting / stopping my music about 20 minutes after whilst on a phone call.

Two things:

Go into WMP and setting the play / pause button to nothing, rather than enter.

Turn of etiquette mode.
