[Froyo 2.2] A2SD corrupts FAT32 SD partition (Explanation for developers)

Confirmed (TWICE!)

First time I fixed the problem by deleting a jpeg that had become corrupted. Now it's been caused, I think, by the .zip (Swype Beta) copied to the SD Card...

I have no idea how to sort it and it's really annoying.

Rooted, Froyo, R9 with A2SD+

I managed to briefly browse the card and delete the .zip but that was just luck coz it'n not letting me browse now. :)

Would reflashing R9 help??

*EDIT*

I can go into the card via Recovery but what can I do there?

Oh - and dies it matter what card you're using? I've got a Scan Disk 16G card. Is it card type specific or not?
