Guest Kleptomaniac12 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 Hi I'm running the R7 build of MCR and I was just wondering if there is a mod out there to let me turn off the backlights on the bottom buttons. Because the light comes through the bottom of the screen it can be incredibly annoying when reading black text on a white background as the top of the screen is darker than the bottom. Guest kav Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 i believe this has to do with the light sensors. the buttons dont always light up during the day, ( at least i didnt notice them to do so) but always in places of low light conditions, then they light up. same system as the automatic screen brightness i think. probably u should be looking in that direction, but i sincerely doubt that there is a mod for that as it would require to shut off the light sensor.
