k so just a thought i have, the omnia 2 has a amoled screen that is crap in the sunlight, but apparantly the new galaxy has a super amoled screen thats great in sunlight, do you think it is possible to buy a new super amoled screen (obviously the same size as the original screen we have) and replace it, thus giving us a better screen with nicer contrast sharper pics etc. And maybe not just a super amoled, just a better screen in general to give a crisper picture

Well Its a good idea. But do you think its possible in O2?,

1) It'd cost the same to get a new phone most likely.

2) Major amoled shortage right now. You won't find one anyways.

Chances are you may require different drivers for the screen so unless you have money to burn I would not even try it.

Ya I can't see the O2 being worth the cost, and effort. If you want a SAMOLED screen might as well by a Galaxy S. Or if sun light viewing is your wish, find a phone with one of sony's Super LCD....which leads me to why the hell are people just slapping Super in front of existing names and calling it a day?
