No Omnia 3? The WP7 phone name is Cetus SGH-i917

In the internet on a german phone site i have read that the WP7 phone from samsung based on the galaxy s and is not named omnia 3. it will have the name Cetus SGH-i917.

It will have a 4" AMOLED display with 800 x 480 resolution, GPS, 802.11 n-Draft WLAN, Stereo FM Radio, a micro-USB-Port and a 5 MP camera and bluetooth 2.1.

I think we will have an Omnia 3 but not yet annonced so just wait :D

Unfortunately, it is not wm7. wm7 is not backward compatible with wm 6.x

I don't expect much software for wp7. Look at:

who care for name? is important to Sammy release WM7 phone....

Why software companies do care wp7? They are learning to release software for ios4 or android platform. They know wm6.x, but wouldn't want to learn for wp7.

well the O3 wasnt shown at CommunicAsia 2010 in June, so it it6 does come maybe next year. Omnia Pro 4 & 5 was shown so the Omnia line is still alive

I would hope that's not the omnia 3, not knowing what the processor or memory is that sounds like an older phone. Wireless N sounds great but is not all too exciting when you consider it's on a phone.
