Touch Player - disabling update, lock screen

Has anyone found the solution to disabling the 'update search' feature on the i920? The last thread I've read regarding that problem dates to February, and I can't find any newer threads.

Also, is there a skin/theme for the i920 where you can control the Touch Player without having to unlock it? I swear I read about this the other day, but can't find where I saw it

Go to delete file in folder >> My Device\Windows\Startup ..

Delete file name .. PlayerAutoUpdate.lnk ..

Restart ..
