They're called mesh cases on eBay, and there are 2 types:

The first ones are a bit asymmetrical because of the hole for the Korean tv antenna, but are very rounded:

The second type comes in more colours, and has a squarer shape on the edge of the bottom that gives it more of an iPhone 4 style which in my opinion looks better. These ones are a bit less comfortable to hold though:

The dark blue in the second type looks amazing in person, almost iridescent.

You can always buy an invisible shield so your phone will not scratch and will be like new one...I don't think this is a reason not to buy a phone...

i have galaxy s and i bought a thin cover for the mobile. and i bought an invisiable shield for teh screen. so no straches for the screen and also no straches for the back of mobile. pretty thin cover. i am going to add some pics of the seen
